I kinda prefer this McDonald's to the others for the mere fact that I get through their drive-thru real quick. There's almost... never any line up of cars and they get your orders correct, unlike the one on Albert Street N where they take 6 hours to get youa drink, and 72 business days to give you a McFlurry which even turns out wrong. Went to grab breakfast this morning, there were two other people whom were waiting inside for their orders. the drive-thru was... around the parking lot and and out the entrance which is why i went inside to order. Placed my order at 7:44am and didn't getit until 8am. I watched the screens pushing car after car through the drive-thru with their waiting times being anywhere from30sec to 1min and 45 secs. By this time there were several people inside and no one came to take orders that didn't want to usethe kiosks they have. two orders were coffee orders and muffins and it took over 10 minutes for those customers. Multiplepeople expressed their frustration with the lack of priority given to inside people when we placed well before those who were inthe drive-thru. This isn't the first time this happened but decided to give another chance, I think I will go elsewhereinstead. The manager was rude and didn't care about the concerns being brought forward. Around 12:20 am Sept 17,2022 we went on druve thru to order 2 happy meal. 1 hot cake happy meal and 1 cheese burger (ketchup and... mayo only) happy meal. When we rcv the order but we didnt check it yet. When i give the happy meal to my son at the back seathis ifirst bite of the fries he is comlplaining they are too hardand they are cold ( must be a left over). So we went back toget them replace and the manager didnt even say sorry. Then the cheeseburger has mustard and pickles no mayo. And the hot cakedoesnt have the syrup. Worse service ever. I ordered a meal with large fries.. I came home and found it was only a half filled pack of fries. And it seemed like it was... leftover fries with small pieces. When I took it back .. he said it is impossible.. .. according to him he could not makemistakes. I never meant to write this Review. But he said it is impossible and would check cameras for it was so rude andunacceptable. They really need to train them how to serve a customer. Read more
I'm fairly confident when I say that this is likely the best McDonald's in the city. It's also one of the newest. 90+% of the... time your order comes out perfect and even made nice, not rushed through and sloppy when you open it up. Normally a very good location. Tonight the women working was extremely rude. Ordered a poutine with my meal and was given a... fork. Not a big deal, mix ups happen. Go to the front counter to ask for a fork and the women working around 7:30pm (afterfinally being able to get her to acknowledge us multiple customers trying to get her attention because of mistakes) she blurtedout "we don't have forks" and walked away. *Changed to a 1 star after spending the entire time eating listening to her scream atthe staff about where things were and why things were being made. Decided to stop in after picking my brother up from an emergency room visit. We were the only vehicle in the drive thru. Placed... an order, and waited about 15 minutes to eventually see someone and make payment. All 3 windows were empty, went back and forthdown the drive thru numerous times to see signs of life inside, even honked a little bit (not to be rude). When we did havesomeone show at the window, the debit machine wouldn't tap and the "OK" button was missing from the debit machine. We tried pensand markers to eventually pin in a card to pay. Overall, it took about (or felt like) a 20 minute wait just to make payment. Thequality of the food really made up for that experience however. It was the wait time - being a single order to be served - emptyservice windows, and and shoddy debit machine that really did a number on us for this review. Expect far quicker service for thelack of business and what tallied up to about a $40-45.00 order. Read more
