I?d say the experience here was good but could be better. The wait time for my meal was quite long, although they did mention to... me that my food would take about 15 minutes to get ready, it took longer than that. I also requested for rice to be added to mymeal as it was only chicken. The serving was quite small and appeared a bit soggy. The chicken was really good, tasted reallynice and my colleagues also enjoyed their meal. Read more

I had high hopes for this place as it had pretty decent reviews on doordash. However, I was quite disappointed after seeing the... bibimbap I ordered. It came with VERY little beef and it was mostly just rice. The taste was not the best either. I also ordereda spicy salmon sushi which was also disappointing. The salmon looked old and the ?spice? was just drenched hot sauce on top. Theonly decent thing I received was the monster roll, hence the 2 stars. Read more

I initially liked this establishment. However, I now find the negative reviews well deserved. The sushi rolls were terribly... done and fall apart easily. The presentation is pretty bad and messy, on top of that the Nigiri was disgusting. I would advisenot to order it as you may get food poisoning honestly! Read more

Absolute trash. So disappointing. They used to make good food. I can?t describe how bad it is accurately. Will never, ever... return and waste money I could have flushed instead. Read more

The food was disgusting, bland, way overcooked, and looked old. The ramen broth was gross, noodles were cheap, veggies were... old, the egg was way overdone, the pork was overcooked and cut into sad little strips, it was like eating tiny strips ofleather, and the rice was old and dry. Ramen is served in a plastic bowl with plastic cutlery and the rice is served in a smallpaper bowl. This is one of those places you wish you couldn't see the food being prepared in. The kitchen is filthy, the decorand lighting in the dining area has years of dust caked on them. With the close proximity to the Uni, I genuinely feel likethey're preying on students that just don't know any better. There is nothing tasteful, genuine, or clean about this place. Read more

I rarely leave negative reviews but I feel compelled to do this because I did not find our meal to be good value or a pleasant... experience. This review is solely for the sushi on their menu, I can't comment on the other dishes. For context, I used to livein Vancouver, so I've eaten a lot of both cheap and high quality sushi, and I'm familiar with supermarket sushi in SK fromliving here for 10 years and have realistic expectations about the quality this far from the ocean. I took out a large group forlunch and we ordered a sushi platter and a couple of items for people with specific dietary needs. The sushi platter was smallerthan anticipated, served in take-out containers even though we were eating in. The containers were the fish and chips kind, itwas an unappetizing presentation, that's forgivable of course if the food is good but it was on the order of mediocresupermarket sushi in my opinion. The dynamite roll had too much mayonnaise in it and was bland. Our sushi did not come withwasabi, soy sauce, or ginger, I had to go up and specially request the wasabi and soy sauce. For $42 for the platter and anoverall bill over $80, one would expect basic condiments to come out with the meal without us having to chase them up. Anotherodd thing was green tea wasn't served with our meal or apparently even an option on the menu, all they had was soft drinks andwater you had to pay for. This is bizarre, I've never been to a Japanese food restaurant without a tea option, and usually it'sautomatic with your order. I won't comment on the service aside from saying it was on the brusque side. On a positive note, wedidn't get food poisoning. Read more

Ordered Korean BimBibap over the phone and I was told 1 hour ago. I decided to go the place after 15 mins to order Takoyaki and... surprisingly the Korean BimBibap was already made.Opened the food at home and the food looks old and the vegetables looks soggyand looks bad. I decided to the rest because I am starving . If you can go somewhere else, do not order from here. The qualityof food got worse and the server seems annoyed as if our fault we are ordering. Read more
