Ordered two medium rare steaks. One of them came out entirely cold and red in the center (literally everything except the crust... was bright red and cold). The server was really cool about it said he would have it cooked more and bring it back out. Then theculinary manager unnecessarily visited our booth to tell us basically that I shouldnt have ordered medium rare if i dont want itand then said I should cut into the steak to make sure it's how I want it this time. Completely unnecessary interaction. Pleasekeep your culinary manager back of house. She doesn't unnecessarily need to ruin an evening. So my husband and I are beginning random date nights and writing down restaurants we haven't been to before and pick one outta a... hat kinda thing... anyway last night was The Keg!! When we 1st got there we sat down and waited and no one came to see us, so wedid walk out and were waiting for a cab (mind you we didn't know that the waitress was dealing with a large table) so themanager caught us outside just as the cab was about to arrive and offered us 2 free appies and 2 drinks and apologized about thesituation.. well who can see no to free food lol So we go inside and the staff were so amazing and were giving usrecommendations and the server and manager were very attentive... just as we were about to go to another place the manager sosaved our night and the server lol But not only the service was amazing but that food was so delicious and most definitely the1st of many trips back to The Keg, specially at this location ?????????? The food was good and filling. The environment very cosy but the downside is u can't take pictures cos the lighting is terrible... for pictures. Their restrictions make u feel safe as tables are far apart. It was my birthday but i didn't get anything special,no dessert, not even a candle so i can put on my cake so that was quite disappointing cos i have been to other restaurants formy birthday and they make me feel special...
