Food was ok, beer was average, service was bad, he just wasn't into it, no air conditioning inside, very warm. Been wanting to... visit for a few years, tried once before but there was an accident in Dewey and couldn't get there. So expectations was high, but really disappointed. Read more

Pretty much what has already been said. The Good: Waiter was very nice and good. Food came out quickly. Flatbread was good and... burgers were actually great. The not so good: I wish the Baltimore burger had more crab on it. It was mostly cream cheese and Icouldn't taste the crab. Normally that would be fine, but if you go 1/2 mile up the road to Woody's you realize you better bringit with the crab. Menu items on the website weren't on the actual menu. Beer selection was extremely disappointing. I would haveloved what the beer menu showed in the picture, instead it was very basic-get some more local options in there and spread outthe varieties. If you want a beer and burger, can't go wrong with this place. Look elsewhere if you want a unique meal and abrew you can't find outside of Delaware. Read more

Great place. Very cozy with a "feel at home" kind of vibe going on. Almost perfect.. I would have tried their food and did more... of their drinks had it not been for the rude, unwelcoming male bartender. Response to the owner: If I recall correctly it wasin the afternoon of July 26 or 27th. You have a wonderful place and should have fantastic people to go with it. Read more

Good food and brew. Try the brussel sprouts. Kids loved the bbq wings. They do flights if you like to try the beers on tap. ... You can see their menu on untapped app. Recommend stopping by. Read more

Editing 7 mos. later: unfortunately things are no better at FMAH. We came back for a second visit. Service was better and more... attentive. However food was worse. Huge stuffed mushroom caps looked great but were a huge disappointment when we cut intothem... The bitter black gills had not been removed. Back they went. Flatbread was good, but fried oysters were burned till theywere black. Almost broke a tooth trying to eat them. The chef came out and apologized, a rarity these days, so we were pleasedwith the show of contrition. To make up for it he sent out bread pudding for dessert. It was inedible... a knife was needed tocut off a bite. Don't they know why bread pudding is called pudding? It's supposed to be soft, wet, squishy. Shaking my head...how this place gets by? The only people that think the food here is good must be drunk by the time they are eating it. (overheard the bartender say " food here is not our thing, we are all about the beer." WELL, THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING.) ------- First time here, not very impressed. The good news: nicely decorated, plenty of parking, very comfortable seating inthe bar room. Especially loved the booth high tops. They had a party room as well that was having a private luncheon for atleast 30 people so that's good to know. The menu was creative and interesting, with a short rib grilled cheese, warm brusselsprouts Caesar salad, and Ruben nachos. However the soup of the day repulsed me. Smoked salmon chowder??? Sounds like they justhad to use up the leftover smoked salmon from the BLTs that was going bad. An only okay craft beer selection, there aredefinitely better Selections in town . Surprisingly the "special" beer menu included Miller Lite. Bad news: As creative as themenu sounds, this really is still nothing more than dressed up bar food. Onion soup was not terrible, but not great either.Rather small soup crock, expected something larger like other restaurants. Instead of the usual sliced croute topped with Read more

We were excited to try a new spot at the beach, especially one that didn't mean you had to contend with traffic or downtown... Rehoboth parking. Named for the stretch of route 1 between Rehoboth and Dewey, this place is a nice size with pretty minimaldecor. Prices and beer selection are good, the staff is friendly. The fried pickles are the best our family has ever had. Theburger and sandwiches are reliable. I made the mistake of ordering the risotto, which just wasn't any good. If they don't remindyou that risotto will take longer than other dishes, be warned, it won't be good. The steak and shrimp on top were fine. Themenu says they try to use local resources, but they need to pay attention to the details. The orange that came with the beer wasdry and old. We were interested in dessert, but the waitress warned us the cheesecake was dry. We tried it and not only was itdry, it had obvious freezer burn! The sauce that came with was awful. She didn't charge us for dessert. The experience startedoff strong, but by the end, we were less impressed. Stick to the simple and you should be fine. Read more
