We had the BLT and Connecticut lobster rolls which was delicious. Loved the toasted bread that it was served on. We also tried... the lobster bisque and added the $5 for extra lobster meat. Soup was ok for but the $5 extra, there really wasn't that muchlobster meat which was a little disappointing. Overall, service was quick, considering there was only 2 people working at thecounter. Mason takeout is one of the expensive restaurant close to the boardwalk. Price wise it's quite high compare to other restaurants... that also serve lobster/lobster roll. The taste itself just OK. It need more seasoning or could use some flavour. They rely toomuch on the sauce.a sprinkle salt and pepper will do. The lobster itself do taste fresh. Read more

The warm lobster rolls (Connecticut roll I believe) was absolutely amazing!! The clam chowder was delicious too!

Ordered takeout from here and this is what I recieved: I'm being critical due to the price being significantly more expensive... than local sandwich/lunch chains. Lobster roll tasted good; roll was buttered nicely....overall was underwhelming in my opinionfrom all the word-of-mouth hype surrounding it. The roll itself was very small in comparison to local businesses that charge 1/4the price for a sandwich at double the size. The big difference being the lobster but at the suspected $15~ difference to covera 5" sandwich worth of filling, it seems to fall a bit short to me in value personally. The Mac and cheese was burned on theoutside as the picture shows; the middle that was edible was decent though. The fries were meh; seasoning was heavy on the topand none on the bottom; guessing I was supposed to shake the bag to even it out. Fries themselves were crunchy to where It seemslike they were cooked a bit too long. Would've given the place 4 stars if the Mac n cheese & fries were not overcooked to acrisp. I enjoyed my lobster roll, the bread was buttered and fresh and the lobster was great. I added extra lobster so my food was... about $25. I think it was a lot for one lobster roll but lobster is expensive and there was a pretty good sized amount it. Read more
