As a kid, I would walk by this place every day, on my way to the ocean and again at night, on my way to the boardwalk. We were... lucky to afford to go and stay at the cottages by the canal so dining out was out for us. This place always seemed fancy andthere was always a crowd of nicely dressed people waiting for tables. I finally went to the Summer House on my most recentvisit because they offer gluten free crab cakes. To be honest, I was underwhelmed by my visit. The crab cakes (2/order) weregood but they were very small and the sides were uninteresting. My husband got a seafood pasta that he liked ok. The atmospherewas nothing special, there was a big puddle on the floor from a ceiling AC vent, and I had to switch chairs at my table bc minewas sticky. None of this was awful but I felt it was not worth the money. The biggest compliment I can give is that the staffwas courteous and attentive throughout the whole experience. Read more
We went for the "young children early bird" and thank goodness! It got so busy after 4:45. I loved my wedge salad and chicken... tacos and my kids loved the French fries. My husband enjoyed his bowl and our server was super friendly and attentive. Greatlocal spot!! Read more
Didn?t plan to stop in here, but glad we did. Was just supposed to grab a drink and head elsewhere for dinner, but when we got... to the other place, decided to come right back. Great drinks, great vibe and the food was delicious! I got the steak medallionscooked perfectly and my date had the seafood pasta- highly recommend. Would visit again! Read more
I wish I could have had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant this Father's day with my husband, wheelchair bound mother and... 3 month old baby daughter but your front of house staff were not accommodating to our special needs. When entering we were askedto leave our stroller outside. I then explained that she is only 3 months she is physically on able to sit on her own, when thenaive host offered me a highchair or booster seat. Despite my child's circumstances they did not offer any realisticaccommodations which we would have needed due to my mother requiring a handicap accessible table anyway. It is disappointingthat on a day celebrating parenthood that we were treated with such discrimination. Luckily, we went down the street to anotherrestaurant and they were able to accommodate us in a kind way so the night was not totally ruined. Read more
My husband, two young children, and myself visited from out of town. The waitress came around initially to get the drink orders,... but my husband and oldest were at the bathroom. She suggested waiting until they return, which wasn't a problem. They returnedafter a few minutes, but it took our waitress about 10-15 to come back. She apologized, and things were fine. We ordered ourdrinks, a starter (cheddar fries), and food (we all got burgers) at that time. We waited about 30 minutes before any of our foodcame, and before we saw our waitress again. She never came around to check to see if we needed any refills, or to give a statuson our food and what seemed to be a delay. When she brought out our food, there was no apology for the wait. Once we receivedour main courses, my husband asked about our cheddar fries, and she said she forgot about those. We then asked for her to notworry about them since we waited so long. The food was good, but extremely disappointed in the service. What was a little morefrustrating was that another woman in jeans came around to ask if we wanted dessert, we declined, then got our check withinseconds. They seemed more interested in getting us out than providing good service. Read more
Wonderful dining experience! The food was excellent, as well as the staff...very friendly ? We started with calamari????, then... ribs & pasta...all of the food had the palate jumping for joy! Definitely going back again and again! Please try the apple slaw,DELISH! Read more
Do you want my honest opinion? It was my first time visiting rehoboth and I didn?t know what to expect. This restaurant has the... best cocktails, best service and not to mention best food. I am so pleased with this establishment and I will definitely be backhere again. Give Maddie a raise! Such a doll! Read more
We ordered the Sirloin/risotto and French Dip...both awesome! Usually kinda busy, but got lucky on a Saturday night, only about... a 10m wait. Been wanting to try this place for years coming to Rehoboth, didn't disappoint. Read more
