Set back from the main road, The Cultured Pearl is an amazing restaurant in every aspect. The atmosphere is miles above the... typical box-building restaurants with it's intricate stairs and koi pond. The wait staff were attentive, entertaining, intenselyaware of the menu and drink options, and extremely personable. Our food was amazing. The edamame and dumplings special werecapable of being a meal by themselves. The sushi selection was vast and non-sushi options were inviting. The sushi rolls werefantastically prepared and every bit of exquisite. The shrimp teriyaki and red curry chicken were very respectable and packedfull of flavor. Cultured Pearl is SUSHI HEAVEN! My son and I went last night to celebrate his 13th birthday, sat at the Sushi Bar. Gracious, it... was so amazing. You can see the entire kitchen from where you eat, which is quite a feat. Some remarkable sushi chefs here - Icounted five of them, and that's on a Monday. They were cranking it out! We love coming here anytime we visit Rehoboth. Crowding will depend on the time of year and the day you go. Expect slightly... slower service on Fridays and Saturday’s. But trust me, the sushi is 100% worth it. The miso is great, the gyoza was good butthe sushi is on another level. Staff is very friendly and if you’re lucky enough, the rooftop deck is fun to sit out on.Highly recommend! Read more

Overall good enough, though not outstanding for the price. Sushi was B quality, simple, not impressive quality. Cashew chicken... entree was overly sweet and orange flavored. I loved the bibimbap! I ordered it with chicken and it had such delicious flavors. It was such a large dish that my husband ate... some too. He ordered the poke bowl off the “small plates” section and thought it was good. The overall atmosphere was nice.It’s a fairly large restaurant with several levels so it can get confusing finding the hostess stand. Went on a Sunday night. Not busy. Sat right away. Good drink specialty. Spiced pear martini. Sushi Rolls were good except the... bigger ones were not rolled properly and each piece fell apart. Did not have that problem with the Real Crab California roll.Overall good service for our waitress being new. Did wait an extended period of time for our check but didn’t hold thatagainst her as she was struggling with the table next to us. Will be back for the ambiance. Read more

Got there early after shopping. Very few patrons but began to fill up fast after 6PM. We shared tempura veggies and crispy duck... dumplings. I could really taste the duck and I was actually thinking of crispy duck when I ordered... The veggies were freshtasting and crispy. We ordered Surf and Turf consisting of jumbo tempura shrimp and a mouth-watering NY strip, med. rare as wellas the seafood pasta. I envisioned taking some steak home to have in the AM with an egg but ME had other plans. I washed it alldown with a Sapporo Premium and had to skip dessert...
