Ambiance was very fitting to the Victorian theme, service was good. However the food was just okay. The price fit the ambiance... of the place but the quality and taste did not, unfortunately. Ordered the duck and the crab cake entrees. They're supposed tobe popular but unfortunately the only flavors present were the barbecue sauce on top of the duck (supposed to be fig but tastedlike generic barbecue sauce) and overwhelming old bay seasoning in the crab cakes. The duck itself had NO flavor, not even saltor the natural fatty taste of duck. The crab cakes were nothing special, just like any other crab cake out of the freezer andoverly salty that you can buy at some cheap roadside eatery. At that price, I expected it to be fresh at least. I came herebecause of the relatively high ratings on Google so I'm wondering if this was just an off day and the regular chef wasn'taround. Too bad we had a disappointing culinary experience in what is otherwise a very pleasant restaurant. Read more
This a gem. The decor brings you back in time with the turn of the century decor. The birds in the main lobby bring a... light-hearted mood and fun. The hotel managers allow them to released and held. The food is exceptional and flavorful. Theservice was prompt, informative and friendly. The price of the meal is a great value for the ambiance, food and service. Read more

Great fine dining experience! Showed up on a Saturday night without a reservation, but actually really enjoyed dining inside... amid the Victorian decor and fretwork. Loved the scallops and ribeye special with a dirty vodka martini. Husband's risotto wasdeliciously creamy. Read more
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!! You enter into the hotel (Boardwalk Plaza Hotel) and you are transported into a very... majestic Victorian style. The detail was impeccable, they thought of everything. There are parrots roaming about and the mostbreathtaking flower arrangements. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food absolutely delivers, I would recommendgoing to their website to see in advance what you may want. The staff in the hotel was very nice as was most of the staff . Theonly downside was the Host seemed very short & snitty with guests. There was definitely an “aire” about the place. Overall Iwould definitely endorse this restaurant.
