Truly bland and awful vegetarian pad thai, duck curry, and crispy mushrooms. Wow. Just so bad. We couldn't and didn't want to... even finish our food. My pad thai tasted like just bland ramen(ish) noodles. I don't understand how anyone could leave a goodfood review here? All three items coincidentally bad? Go try Moo Dangs Pad Thai and then you will know what thai food is supposeto taste like. Read more

Great Service. The "Charbroiled" Satays were still cold inside, the sauce was warmer than the satays. The rest of the meals are... great. Read more

First time I ordered I was drunk and I loved it. Today I tried again with their vegetable curry and that was not curry it was... steamed vegetables. It’s so shady they don’t have a phone number. I couldn’t understand why would they have a desertlisted as vegan but there’s no more info info or reassurance into their other vegan dishes. I asked to make my food vegan inthe description but they put egg on it. I just came here to read all the bad reviews about the curry and I’m feeling nauseous. Read more

We sat outside which was cute and near Virginia street so you can hear and see all the hustle and bustle. We had to stop the... waitress to order. We ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer. The flavor was good but it only came with 5 shrimp and a giantside salad for $13. We ordered 3 main dishes for 3 people (~$16/ea). One came out promptly. The other two were almost 10 minlater so we had to watch each other eat. The food was okay. The flavors are there but muted. Everything came out in swimmingsauces that looked like they were sitting under a heat lamp. Rice is extra ($2). I want this place to succeed but they need towork on proportions, presentation, service and pumping up the flavor especially for the price. Read more

I hate to write anything negative about a local restaurant but I want people to know the experience I had to warn them. the... service was great but the food was awful. I lived in Thailand for two years and this food was not Thai. I ordered yellow curryand it looked like beef stroganoff and tasted poor. When I ate it I thought I would get food poisoning and I was right, I haveterrible food poisoning and nausea after eating there. It was also kind of expensive for what I got. Would not recommend eatinghere if you you want Thai food. Read more

Great experience dinning in. He gave me a choice to sit inside or outside. We sat inside visiting for a convention. The food was... delicious. I ordered the basil chicken with a mojito. He offered us dessert but we were full. I will definitely visit again. Read more

Cornish game hen?!?!? How often do you see that one on any menu? The prevailing reputation of this dish, that when improperly... prepared, Cornish game hen can be gamy, not at the preferred end of the foul spectrum. I am happy to report that my CGH was wellprepared at Cafe De Thai, tender, delicious and we'll portioned! With the key balance of spices as to make a most paletabledish. Combined with a chutney mango salad with Thai noodles, and an iced black tea. A sumptuous pleasing meal! The restaurantwas clean, the service attentive, and efficient. In all, a great mid afternoon meal, that would be most suitable for anyoccasion. Read more
