Solid 3.5 on the food and 5 for our waitress. Our waitress was amazing. We are in town for basketball and I wanted some bbq. ... The food was pretty average, nothing was WOW. It wasn’t bad and it wasn’t amazing. I loved the fries. Brisket was superfatty. I wanted to fall in love but it just wasn’t amazing. Definitely worth it if you so happy hour. I would come again ifI was in Reno and wanted BBQ. I really wanted the Mac n cheese but I’m super picky and theirs had corn and jalapeños in it. The corn was super random, jalapeños I could have dealt with. Anywho, I’m sure most people would like their food. Read more

If you swipe through the reviews that I post, you will find that I enjoy experiencing a myriad of food selections from all over... Reno and from various ethnic cuisines. Despite my love for ALL things pertaining to FOOD, at heart, I am a Southern Gentleman(New Orleans born and raised) so I never pass up an opportunity to try something which reminds me of my Southern roots. I havehad the opportunity to sample a FEW BBQ joints around Reno since relocating here (my 1 year anniversary was March 31, 2022????????) and I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by my findings... But! Imagine, if you will, my shock andamazement to find out that one of my absolute long time FAVORITE barbecue sauces actually has a full blown brick and mortar herein my newfound home! For YEARS I have not only enjoyed the savory selections of sauces Famous Dave's has concocted, but I havealways found it both hilarious and a testament to how serious one has to be about their BBQ standing above the rest to have theconsumed product of said brand have an ACTUAL pig as its Chef /Pitmaster/mascot on the logo AND have that ???? ???? ???? a ????????????????????. GENIUS!!!! The GOOD: the staff (though short-staffed for obvious reasons) was amazing, Very, VERYprofessional, attentive, friendly and welcoming (in spite of some grumbling from a couple patrons). The decor and theme of thesetting set the tone and vibe which was relaxed and casual. The sauces... FILL ME UP SHOT GLASSES and keep em coming!!!! TheBAD (in my humble opinion): the food arrived and though visually pleasing it was, however, very luke warm. The ribs were a bittough and almost seemed microwaved, and the rib tips were also a bit rough to really enjoy them, unfortunately. A bit deflated(because I hyped MYSELF up because of that doggone ???????????? a ????) I finished off as much as my meal as was respectful andtook my leave. Prices are reasonable especially if you get their app (get a burger free), sides were ok, didn’t enjoy the rib tips - too... chewy, besides that some decent food and waitress was nice. Read more
I really enjoyed the brisket and the appetizers. I do feel like the Pulled pork was pretty fatty but I understand that's part of... BBQ. The corn muffins were good but the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the collard greens. They were not collardgreens. Read more
The brisket and rib slabs are so delicious and it was very good. Would definitely go back and have more. They were cooked well... and the servers were very good. Their combination plate is the best recommendation if you are a party of 2 or more. It's so muchthat you will end up packing the rest in a box. Just had a delightful dining experience here!!! We were lucky enough to have Lyndsey as our server!! She is just the best!! ... Made sure we always had what we needed, and was just a joy to interact with. We had the burnt ends as an appetizer, and theywere over the top great!! Both of us had a BBQ salad as a main, and they were a good meal size and very tasty. The cornbreadmuffins here are to DIE for!!!
