11/17/22 Visit: Best breakfast place in Reno for anyone who loves biscuits, gravy or calorically dense food! Reminded me of... being in Tennessee, and the amazing southern food. Interesting and streamlined process, you order and pay for your food beforeyou even sit down. Definitely recommend for a brunch date. Read more

The biscuits are delicate, flaky, and soft with such flavorful gravy that hits the spot. I also tried the fried mac n cheese... bites and they were amazingly crunchy on the outside and cheesey in the inside. I added the hot sauce and it was perfect. We satoutside since our dog accompanied us. It was really relaxing and great environment. Would most likely come back. Read more

Such a wonderfully perfect breakfast here. Portion size wasn?t too big, so I didn?t leave feeling overstuffed, and the quality... and flavor was right on point. I got a biscuit with fried chicken, pickles, stone ground mustard, and an over easy egg. Filledme up perfectly and every bite was like a new experience. Was a little messy, so I wouldn?t recommend trying to eat it like asandwich unless you wanna get your hands sticky, but a fork and a knife worked just fine. Good variety of options here sothere?s something for everybody, and the bottomless coffee was a nice touch too. Read more

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Excellent food and friendly service. The Wedgie with blue cheese is my go to. This time we... tried the chicken fried steak and it was pretty legit. Smothered in the mushroom gravy and seasoned well. Hash browns are alwaysa great choice too! Read more

It?s a big portion, but it was delicious. We ordered the club and the reggie deluxe. The gravy on reggie deluxe was super yummy... in my opinion. It goes well with the fried chicken and the biscuit. The club was okay, they just slide in a big chunk of lettuceand some tomato. You?re expected to bus your own table. Read more

Pine State Biscuits is a MUST! Biscuits are soft and melt in your mouth buttery goodness! We came from Tahoe for a day trip and... was for sure worth it! So good we went back a second time leaving to go back home. First trip we split the Chatfield and somebeignets. Both were fantastic! ???? second time we got the biscuits À la cart with some eggs and bacon. The apple butter withthe biscuits is heavenly! Service was also amazing and they are true rockstars for keeping up with the crowds of peeps comingin and the restaurant was very clean. We will be back! Read more

A different breakfast place centered around a biscuit. So many choices, so little time ????. The biscuits are good but not... special. The different products used on or in between the biscuits are nicely prepared. The gravy used was excellent. I probablywould eat everything on the menu. The only reason Pine State Biscuits doesn't rate a 5 star rating is that I really dislikesemi-self serve / self serve restaurants. Read more

This place is BUSY. A lot of people and a long line at the door. We got there early so we didnt have to wait too long. But I... will say that it is really worth the wait the food was AMAZE. The biscuits are soft and moist yet crisp on the top- perfectlymade. My son got the figgy pop tarts and they're made from scratch and taste absolutely wonderful. The blueberry pancake isrefreshing and lemony. I got a biscuit sammie with chicken and mushroom gravy and it was one of the best things I've ever put inmy mouth. The coffee is even really delicious. And I saw a table next to us get bloody Mary's and they looked amazing!!! I wasjealous haha. I wanted to ask if I could take a photo of the drinks but I decided not to disturb, you'll have to experience themyourself. If you dont mind a bit of a wait this place is WORTH IT. Get the fried green tomatoes!!!???? Read more
