The waitress was awesome. One person was delayed, so we didn?t order right away. She was very understanding and checked on us... frequently the whole time we were there. She added to the pleasure of our lunch Read more

The outdoor seating was pleasant and there was no shortage of service because we were outside. Our waiter was very pleasant and... ready with recommendations. Another excellent visit! Read more

I requested a specific table that accommodates my wheelchair and my service dog, and it was waiting for me at the reserved time.... Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Food never disappoints - this time I had the New York Strip Steak and duck fatfries. Super delicious. Tiramisu shared for dessert was very satisfying. Another happy memory made at the Grill! I first discovered the Grill about 4 years ago. I've become a regular for lunch and dinner. I've always had a great dining... experience with them. On May 30th, I had lunch there with a buddy. Their Thai chicken salad was fabulous! Vicki took outstandingcare of us! I highly recommend them if you're looking for great food at a reasonable price. Read more

UPDATE: I was just here for a quick lunch and they had a Patty Melt on special that day. Tho it wasn't made with rye bread as... is a "REAL" patty melt, they did do well with sourdough bread. Served with fries for me. I will say this place does cater to the"well heeled" of Reno as the prices are no bargain. $17 for a Patty Melt. I guess the prices do keep the riff raff out. Casualelegance is what I'd characterize The Grill at Quail Corners. There is a full bar as well as a great Happy Hour. The full menuis quite extensive and starts at Lunch at 11am thru Happy hour 4-6pm and dinner till closing. We started with the happy houravailable only at the bar or lounge high-top tables. I had the fried Calamari for just $6.00 and it was just about the bestfried calamari dish I ever had! The scampi for $8.00 was very tasty and I could of just drank the sauce! Next were the steamedclams. The sauce was not as buttery as last time, but had more of an herbs flavor. I just love the house made bread served withunsalted butter. The happy hour wine was very good for the price, I had 4! Good thing I wasn't driving. The service was veryprofessional and friendly, even through a mask! I'll look forward to coming here again real soon! We just got back from anothervisit. This time we went for the small plates of the NY steak served over duck fat fries topped with an Argentinian Chimichurrisauce. ($16) It looked like pesto, but didn't taste anything like that. It was one of the most delicious things I've had here, order this! Also, we had the seared ahi, not wroth the $16 price, but tasty still. I think we got short changed on the ahi, everybody else got 8-9 pieces, we got just 6! Read more

More so 3.5 stars, but I tend to round up. Its been some years since I have been here until recently I did a take out order... online. I showed up and they hadn't seen the online order, so they apologized, they were jam packed at 8 pm and so theygenerously gave me a free drink at the bar while I waited. We got the Sicilian pizza and the scallops and risotto that night, and both were very tasty especially for being take out orders. I decided I need to start adding this place our rounds, andresigned up for the reward program. Last night we decided to go out again, instead of take out, sit down in the restaurant, thepatio is still very nice, especially when the evening is winding down and you have twinkle lights and less heat! They wereagain, slammed, for a tuesday night seemed like a good sign. As another reviewer stated, they had a very large party, and also,it looked like a couple other smaller parties of 5-8. And like every place in town, I am sure they are slightly understaffed. Itdidn't really bother us because we weren't in a hurry, even though it took time to get drink orders and refills at times, butoutside of that, there was some execution errors in the food that always sucks when you feel like you're at a place thatshouldn't have those. We started with the $14 1 lb of steamer clams (I really wanted to split the louie louie louie salad withmy husband but he didn't want to), so steamer clams, one of my favorite appetizers when done right. The broth was plentiful, andmade with wine but it didn't come through for me, that tang you expect. Lots of onions some garlic and parsley, and a perfectamount of spice from red pepper flakes. Also, it wasn't salty, which can happen with these. The clams unfortunately had lots ofsand, I would say 50% of them had sand in them. Farmed clams have less sand than wild caught, and its not hard to throw them intap water and corn meal before hand for a few to try to purge them more. I got the $25 sole dinner entrée, wit Read more
