$30+ for a burned past redemption piece of pork belly in a pineapple with minimal fried rice and noodles. Not to mention 30... minute wait. Really awful food for the wait too. I expected quality for the time it took to get our meal but instead we gotmaybe 3oz burned to the core pork belly and mediocre food. Won't be back. Edit: 4 people ahead of us. The pork wasn't evenclose to the picture. It was literally burned to a crisp through the entire piece of meat. Wasn't busy at all. Food wasinedible and we actually threw it away. Best of luck treating your future customers better. I have attached photos so buy atyour own risk to anyone willing to still go. To the owner: Fix your food first before you call people out. We threw this in thetrash and ate so little of it while being extremely hungry. Look at the photos and compare to your own photos of the food. Tellme I'm lying. Read more
The food here is just So. Effing. Good. The chef/owner has put so much thought into flavors, freshness, texture, and balance.... Some of the best noodles, fried rice, and pork belly I've had - all in one dish! Portions are amazing. Cheeseburger egg rollsare crazy good, they taste just like a cheeseburger! Super disappointed with the food and the owner. We put our order in and waited 40 minutes for crab ragoons. We noticed others... who ordered after us getting their food before we did. We asked about it and the owner started yelling and saying he called 30minutes ago for our order and apparently someone else took our food like it was our fault? He yelled about giving us a refundbut the lady taking orders was so nice and asked the other cook to bring us our order out so thank you to the rest of the team!But we waited 40 minutes for crab ragoons that weren't all that great. Went to the food truck 2 hrs into the event and they were already out of half their menu. Decided to get the spring rolls and... the Thai basil minced pork. A child rang us up and was struggling to read the receipt to give us our order #. Waited 10 minuteswhen the guy says he has to make more of the Thai basil and that it would take 5-10 mins. So we said ok and decided to walk theevent. We came back 5 minutes later. He then informed us that he?s completely out of it. I decided to just get my money back forthe dish, but still wanted the rolls. He gave me $15/$15.12 that I paid. I wasn?t going to make a big deal out of .12, but Ifelt that the whole experience was a mess and pretty upsetting. Not to mention, my 18% tip turned into a 62% tip! They wereextremely unprepared for a 5 hr event and the workers need to be properly trained. The spring rolls were good.. Disappointed Icouldn?t try the entree. My response to owner: First off, your tax math is incorrect. Second, your response is extremelyunprofessional. Third, you're just wrong. It was a $14 item, the sales tax in Washoe county is 8.265% so 14 x 1.08265 is$15.1571. Therefor, you actually owe me $.15. Whether you disagree with me or not there is a better way for a business owner toreact. I'm sorry you had a long line and dropped the food but, I paid for food and tipped for service that I didn't receive! My1 star review is even more called for now than it was 6 hours ago when I first submitted my review on google.
