Food is great. Service is getting better. However, we went several months ago and were left standing by the door for ten minutes... while we waited for a hostess to seat us. In the meantime, the waitresses that were on, watched us walk in, made eye contact,yet did not acknowledge us AT ALL upon entry. Instead, they continued their conversation (in an all but empty restaurant, mindyou) as if we were invisible. They were very rude. In my opinion, they should have AT THE VERY LEAST greeted us and let us knowthat the hostess would be right with us. Instead, we were ignored completely and they lost our business that day. Chili's is ok. The waitress came fast and took our order. The waitress was great but the food is only ok. I feel like the... selection is small so I ordered the southwestern egg roll appetizer and did not like it at all. The dip had no flavor and Ireally struggles to find any chicken. I would never order this again. Son always orders a hamburger and fries and is alwayssatisfied with that. Read more

Staffing at this location is clearly an issue. It was just me and families ahead. I waiting 15 minutes to be greeted by some... nasty ?manager? and those before me had to be waiting at least 5-10 minutes. Upon arrival the interior of the restaurant was anabsolute mess, food all over the floors , dirty tables all over the place and by the look at peoples faces they weren?t pleased.The customer service was awful and the restaurant wasn?t clean and I was able to finish my beverages before my dinner even came. Perhaps some new management? Low standards means low outcome and performance. You can see the staff stressed out. As a formerrestaurant manager and culinary arts major it?s not a healthy environment . I?d like to add that the female who greeted thefamilies was snarky, rude and unprofessional. Conveniently located in the Van Rensselaer Shopping Mall, this Chili's (like all of them now) has a wide variety of foods you... can choose from that will satisfy any appetite at reasonable prices. The staff have always been friendly and quick with orders,and there has been nothing objectively wrong with the food that I've tried here. However, I would say that the chili is slightlytoo salty for my taste, and the guac could do with a lime on the side.
