Saimin Says is a cute Hawaiian restaurant nestled into the business park next to Ikea. Our food was cooked to order, which I... appreciate, so took a bit of time to come out. Staff was extremely friendly and made me feel like this is a place I'd like tofrequent! I tried the katsu and the kalua pork combo plate. The chicken katsu had a gorgeous crust on it and was perfectlycooked. The katsu sauce was very sweet. The kalua was very good but quite juicy/watery. My daughter ordered the keiki pancakesand was DELIGHTED when she saw it was shaped like a sea turtle! Super cute touch! She also adored the spam musibi -classic! Mahalo! We'll be back! Read more
Mochiko Chicken + Kalua Pork/Cabbage combo: 5 stars for flavor/quality, 4 stars for portions (not a true Plate lunch, more like... a lunch special), but reasonable for $14. Would repeat if in the area again. Read more

I ordered from this place twice for work and it was delicious! I had the Combo plate with Kalbi Ribs and Garlic Chicken and the... other one i tried was with the ribs and Tonkatsu. They were delicious! I love how their Kalbi Ribs are so flavorful! And i lovehow they secure the bag for delivery. So today, i introduced this place to my boyfriend and he loved it. We ordered the comboplate. And we both got the Kalbi ribs and Mochiko Chicken which by the way is spicy. But all in all, it was delicious andbursting with flavors. Will try the other items on the menu later on. We ate outside on their parking lot and just ate under ashade inside our car. We got so full and had some leftovers. Will definitely come back Read more

Late post, my husband took me here because of the reviews and images on Google. To our surprise it was definitely a diamond in... the rough. We enjoyed our meals as they tasted authentically local and it was cooked to order. The spam katsu musubi was amazingwe took some home. If you're in the area make a stop you won't regret it! I'm only giving it 4 stars as there weren't manyplaces to sit as the inside is very small but I'm sure that's by design and for overhead purposes. Read more
