5 Stars! Came in at 9:15pm when closing time was 10pm on a Friday. Ordered a drink at the bar with Jacob (shaved head & tats).... Awesome Old Fashioned with local Bourbon. Ate Roasted Chicken Breast, add Grilled Prawns, sub mashed potatoes for ParmesanGarlic Potatoes with side of Mushrooms. Chicken was perfect! Prawns were not tough and seasoned excellent! Could drink thissauce. Vegetables were done wonderfully, including Mushrooms. WILL be back! Well done! Read more
So so SO SO YUMMY! The staff are super kind and welcoming, it's a little dark so watch your step, but they are so attentive and... really kind! The food here is cooked to perfection, and I love it! The steak was really flavourful, and the sides weredelicious. We also had the Seafood Cajun Pasta, and everything was so flavourful, it's such a nice place to dine in, and justrelax and have a good time! Thank you! Read more
We sat at the bar for dinner. Service was good. My steak was a nice medium rare. But my mash potatoes were too soggy and my... husband's steak was well done instead of medium rare and his rice pilaf was too dry. Read more
Best little steakhouse in the south end. The Cajun seafood linguine is so delicious, just enough heat that even those who don't... like overly spicy dishes will enjoy. Sausage pairs nicely with the scallops and shrimp. Save some bread to soak up the yummysauce if you don't like to lick the plates in public. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection as ordered and the parmesanroasted potatoes had just enough crunch to the cheesy skins. We visit a few times a year. We are never and I mean NEVER disappointed in our service, food or drinks. Make your reservations... and go! Steak is our standard go to, but we went outside our lines and got the Melrose Stroganoff and the Cajun Seafood thistime. Their staff is attentive, kind and knows the offerings very well. The general manager Franco was nice enough to squeeze our party of 11 very last minute to help celebrate my sister's birthday. ... This is her favorite restaurant and we wanted to share it with the rest of the family as to why it is. Of course it was a hit!Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was well seasoned. Great experience, we ended up walking in on our Anniversary without a reservation and were seated with ten minutes of arrival!... We ordered the Filet Oscar-Style plus grilled prawns and the salmon then finished with the lemon tart and peach crisp. The steakwas cooked perfectly and the sides were great but it could've gone without the zucchini. Overall an excellent experience forfood and service. Read more
