Asked for a non menu item recommended by a friend, Borrego also known as Lamb Shank. Super tasty and could be split by 2 people... because the portions are big. They bring chips and salsa and the creamy bean dip as complimentary which is very tasty. Staff isvery friendly, very clean inside as well. Read more
Almost pointless to review this restaurant. The other 1500 reviews pretty much speak for themselves. Excellent food, service,... and atmosphere. Luis was our server, did a wonderful job. Of course I did not take a photo of this food. I was so excited to eat it and I just threw down. I sat in the bar area. Service... there was great and speedy. They ordered chips, salsa and beans to start off as an appetizer. The Ted Margarita was flavorful. Iordered tacos, it came with sour cream, guacamole, rice and beans. I ordered tacos with 2 different meats but I only receivedone meat - chicken after it was suggested I try both. Other than that, the experience was good. Wow... best Mexican food ever. I tore into my plate and couldn't eat it all. The portions are big and the staff is so friendly.... My server was very attentive and helpful. I visited Torero's for the first time today and enjoyed it. It's your basic Mexican fare with some nice additions like queso... with chorizo. The complimentary chips are salsa were good with the chips having a clean taste and crisp texture while the salsaand a good mix of veggies and sauce with cilantro and onion. The cheese dip was tasty with chorizo and green onions. I enjoyedit a lot. For my entree, I had arroz con pollo and tasted the chicken requires taquitos. The arroz con pollo is tomato basedand differs from others that I've had only in that it had a hint of orange citrus. The taquitos has a really nice smoky flavorwhich pared well with the sour cream and guacamole. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back! Read more
