Very friendly staff, fast service and excellent foIt! Fantastic vegan hash. Loved it!
So I made a reservation here for my going away dinner ( I’m moving out of state ) because I’d had a positive experience here... once before when we walked in with no reservation . But after that I received multiple calls confirming the reservation whichwould be fine , but it made it seem like the staff lacked communication. Then I received a call an hour before the time andbasically they asked me how long my party would be there since they had a large party soon after mine basically wanting to rushus out , I’m not one to ever leave a negative review but that is just so rude especially when I’ve worked customer service !Then, when we got there I had to pull over chairs to make sure there was enough , and they kept talking about condensing ourtable if a few people in our group weren’t there . It seemed like they made sure to adequately set up the next reservationstable with plenty of time …At the end when we were wrapping up we saw the reservation after us come in and we were shocked tosee how different the waitress was when talking to them . My colleagues noticed immediately ! I really can’t understand whyshe didn’t provide us with the same customer service as she did them and this whole experience was so confusing . They cateredto the other party immensely ? I don’t know if they were like a high profile group or what . But , I have never had this sortor experience anywhere ! My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon at Whistle Stop Ale House....our first time there. Sat on the... outside patio enjoy the sun, people and atmosphere. Service was wonderful and food, beer delicious! Will definitely goback!!???? Read more
Such good brunch! The bloody Mary has a tasty seasoned salted rim and the mix is good. I ate the impossible patty breakfast... sandwich with hashbrowns. Their hashbrowns are perfect and they have tasty vegetarian options. The meat dishes look bomb too.Really happy with my experience. Read more
Five stars just for the service, the drinks and food were good but the service was excellent. SETH DESERVES A RAISE!!!! , he was... my server and I think the only server for the whole place at the time. He was great, so great in fact I assumed he was one ofthe owners of this operation for how much attention and care he had for the service provided. 10 out of 10 would come back andrecommend, when more servers came they also provided good customer service, but Seth was the best. The service was so good Ileft a 45% tip, lol Seth deserved it. Read more
Whistle Stop is one of our go-to places for their consistently delicious food and great service! They were our go-to choice... during the pandemic because of their outdoor seating and I'm glad to see that they have kept that great outdoor space! Try theclub or Reuben sandwiches and add tots - they are yum! Update...burgers are delish! Beers always tasty! Read more
Got the Turkey w/ artichokes and pesto mayo and she got the portobello burger. Everything was delicious.. but have to mention... the tots! Those were awesome and make sure to get a side of ranch for dipping if you're into that! Read more
A unexpected place with interesting beer and food at a nice and sunny location patio (if you want to sit outside). Got a tasty... "Everybody Stir It Up" - Hazy IPA and a "Fremont Summer Ale". Then one pound of pacific clams steamed in garlic, shallot,butter, sherry broth. Served with toasted garlic bread - delicious, better than expected. Was happy with all. Good place inRenton! Read more
