I actually am not a huge fan of the ambiance, but my wife really likes it. The food is some of the best for the price... though. The calamari was nice thicker rings, but still not over cooked like most places. Came with a small salad withmarinated bell peppers. Way worth the price. I had the veal parmesan with spaghetti and arrabbiata sauce. Great flavor andtasted home cooked with fresh herbs and spices. No hint of artificial flavors. I will get again. My wife had the filet mignon. Very tender and delicious and a nice thick cut. We ordered rare and it actually came out rare. Perfectly char grilled outsidewith a cool red inside. I'd recommend it if you are a steak person. You won't get better steak for less than double theprice. Finally, my 8 year old daughter had the children's pizza. Even that was amazing. It was a thin crust crispy pizza withperfect amount of cheese. The sauce was flavorful with a fresh basil taste. I was surprised at the size of the kids pizza. I ate2 slices and we still had 2 slices to bring home after my daughter was full (she did eat half my calamari though). I'm alwaysweary of ordering off the kids menu because you often find it's like a frozen pizza with a thick crust you could have gottenfrom Metro. This was not the case. In summary, we had a great meal for a great value. Skip the traffic to downtown Montreal andeat here instead. Read more
Nice ambience, food is not bad but the portions are quite big. Pricing is pretty much the same everywhere else. Service is... great. The alcohol has way too much ice. By the time you get your drink, it has been diluted with the ice and tastes like water.The music was way too loud for my ears, but maybe not loud enough for someone else. Nice place, food and service was great. Sound system was loud (Saturday night) and a bit defective with audible distortion/buzz... similar when you have a almost defect audio jack. Read more

Arrived at 7:30 ordered our main dish at around 9:30. Food still pretty good though. Just want to make something clear, I'm not... blaming de waiter, he had too many tables to handle. excellent food and hospitality. escargot, portobello mushroom and mussles are delicious :-) staff is friendly, welcoming and... puts in the extra effort. patrons are also friendly which makes Biaggi's a great place for an after work drink with friends aswell as a hit spot for a great dinner with your significant other. definately will be going back and I do highly reccomend.
