Very nice atmosphere. The ladies that work here are so friendly and accommodating. I've been here several times that have not... experienced an issue nor have I seen any negative interactions with other customers. Loved the decor and the overall theme of the shop. Coffee names go with classic rock songs. Latte was smooth, not overly sweet... but could still taste flavor. Service was quick. When we pulled up there was 1 car in the DT a customer leaving and anotherplacing an order so there was no wait. The staff wasn't very talkative, none asked if we had been there before or offered anysuggestions just stood there making us feel a bit awkward as we were trying to figure out what they had to offer. I ended upbuying one other thing and approached the counter and again nothing was said, no "I'll be with you in a moment", no "ok give meone second". Went to Classic Rock Coffee in Republic for the first time. I was impressed. Its decorated very cool with album covers and... instruments. I didn't know they had such a large food selection. They had a large food menu, shakes, smoothies, Coffee of courseand more. I ordered a peach smoothie and it was delicious! The customer ahead of me had what looked like a pocket bread sandwichand some fruit. It looked good. I will go back and try some food for sure. This morning, I visited Classic Rock Coffee in Republic, my hometown. I really like this place, just as good as their original... branch in Springfield, even though I only even went there one time. I ordered the Sweet Emotion, one of their flavored coffeedrinks, for good reason: it's named after the song by Aerosmith, a Classic Rock band, in some previews of the Pixar film InsideOut, a staple memory of my teens. How nostalgic I feel for the time I grew up in Republic when I consume such media as thisfrom that era. After all, I lived in Republic with my dad and stepmom as a child and teen, but not anymore I don't. Read more
Spent my morning here drinking some delicious coffee, working and chatting with some of the employees. Everyone was super nice... and helpful and the coffee was excellent. I chilled at a table for a few hours getting some work done while enjoying some goodmusic. Classic rock isn't just the name of the coffee shop it's also just about all the music they played here although they didplay an older Pearl Jam track that I took some offense to (can the music of my youth be seen as classic rock nowadays?) Allkidding aside, I will definitely be back when I'm in Republic and I even bought some ground breakfast blend to takehome. Visited again in November of 22. Still just as good with just as nice of folks working behind the counter. Can'trecommend it enough! Read more
