Truth be told, I'm honestly furious at how amazing their food is. Stay away from this place unless unless you want to want to... wake up in the middle of the night craving brisket and potato salad like your life depended on it. In order are the deep fried apple pie, granddaughters with 1/2 grilled cheese each, onion rings, ham sampler and pulled pork... sliders with deep fried pickles. Everthything was above average in flavor and very decent portions. My only stopping point fromgiving 5 stars were the mashed potatoes and gravy were heavily salted and the onion rings were not crispy. A shining light isthe home made deep fried pie. Overall great service, good portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely go again. Read more
This is a nice, normal BBQ joint. Plusses? Everything seemed to be house made! They have a small selection of beer and had one... local craft craft beer on tap. Not too loud, prompt polite service. Food all tastes good. We had burnt ends, and the smoked macn cheese was particularly yummy. Be sure to ask for the spicy sauce they keep in the back! Read more
Well... let's just say the best part of the meal I just had was the texas toast! Burnt ends where nasty & nothing but fat!... Ribs... dry! The cheesy corn is so greasy, I don't even understand... its corn! Loaded mac.. taste like buffet mac with somemeat chunks in it! If you want good BBQ... go to Smoking Bob's on W. Republic Rd! The staff was really friendly. Food delicious. Fried okra was good. Texas toast was good. Smoked macaroni and cheese was great,... burnt ends came in a light sweet, smokey sauce, I'll be returning! Good food is hard b top find in Springfield Missouri. Read more
