For the most part it was alright. Ck fr stk was too cooked. Same with the ck strips. Not to mention the ck noodle soup tasted... spoiled. Does not compare to Aurora Family Restaurant in Aurora, Mo. Read more
Unfortunately it is flavorless food..potatoes are too greasy tasting and even the skillets have zero flavor. Like eating... sawdust. Good service and a clean environment, but the pie is probably the only thing worth eating. Read more
Fast service and delicious homestyle food!
Our server Ann greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant and efficient. The food was good, and hot when we received it. ... The two egg cheese omelet was flavorful and fluffy, the French toast was tender and made with french bread. They offer a lotof different sides and with pick 4 menu evertone can be satisfied. Spot on breakfast food! THE place for breakfast in Republic. I had the supreme breakfast and it was. All food was piping hot and... looks great. Multiple servers came to check on us and left the pot of coffee so I always had what I needed. Don?t forget thepie! You won?t be disappointed. Read more
Breakfast was AWESOME! I ordered the BYO...2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits & gravy and a 1/2 waffle. I couldn't eat it... all...I Was STUFFED. Boyfriend got the Smothered Pork Burrito! Better than getting my server was fantastic. I was definitely disappointed in my food. I've been coming off and on to Village... Inn over the last six or seven years. Definitely less over the last couple years. Prices increased and quality decreased.Definitely disappointing. Ordered a dinner size Cobb salad because I can usually only eat about half was going to take the otherhalf home to eat later. I got a salad that was smaller than the lunch size I usually get. Paid over $10 for a medium sizedsalad. When I used to get the salads here they were completely piled high and rounded over. So much that I would usually have toget an extra plate and scoop some of it off in order to mix it in my dressing and start eating. My salad was about an inch and ahalf thick. Definitely disappointed. I left the server know that I had never had a salad that small, especially for a dinnersized salad. The server informed me that the manager made it to specifications. Looks like specifications need to be changed.I'm not saying the salad didn't look good. It looks fantastic. But it was definitely closer to half the size that I usually get.Not worth $10. Read more
I know it was a busy day but we didn't get all the food we were to get and the waiter didn't check back with us to make sure we... did just said that they were to bring it out. That is not how you wait on tables. I know because I use to wait tables. Themanager took off one meal and that was nice but still not good service. Read more
