The fish plate was just about the same as I remembered, GREAT. It looked the same too. Love the prices too.

Was good but has been better in the past. Very hot today. No AC doors open flies inside. I don't see how they can work in there... like that Read more

It was my first time there. I only went there because my favorite fish place, Fishbone was closed. Initially I thought to go... elsewhere because the only worker there didn't even acknowledge you for a few moments. She didn't say hi be right with you ornothing. She kept on frying food. When she finally came to the counter she smiled and took the order. I watched her grab thefrozen looking fish strips and then place them in batter to fry. Amazingly the fish was tasty. I'm not a fan of the fries(chips). Read more

I was very disappointed in our meal. It has been years since I had eaten here but I remember it was so delicious. Not anymore! I... ordered 2 $17 plate with everything. I dont know if I got the left over un fresh last of the batch because everything was friedto much and hard to eat. The shrimp was tuff. The hush puppies were like hard rocks. The fried clams were fried to a crisp. Theonly items that were Ok was the cole slaw, not worth the money for a small size like 2 bites worth, and the fries. They were OK.I will never eat here again! And I had been eating here since the mid 1950's. Read more

The food is delicious, but it is definitely very expensive. It easily costs $40+ for two people to eat here. The breading on the... fish is so light, crispy and perfect. The fish itself is okay, and it doesn't have a strong fishy flavor or anything, but themeat is a little but mushy. The cole slaw is okay--it didn't have very much flavor, but the onion rings and the tartar sauce areso good! Service is really good too. I will definitely be back! Read more

Ordered the seafood combo for $16. The fried fish is delicious and a large piece. The jumbo shrimp is also delicious; it's large... for a shrimp, but considering it's the same price as a piece of fish, I would consider it just as a treat. The oyster was prettygood, the scallops were dripping juice (weird to me in a fried food), but the clams were tiny. You could taste the clams, butnot really get any texture (they're the tiny fried crumbs in my pic). The fries were underwhelming and undercooked -- totallynot worth it. I'll probably get a la carte instead of a combo next time. If you do get food from here, eat it right away. It'sno good even on a 15 minute drive home because it will get soggy. I ate some on site (they have two tiny outdoor tables), andsome at home, and it's a world of difference. Get the cocktail sauce, too! It's 40 cents extra, but it's so much better with thefood than tartar sauce or ketchup. Read more

I liked it. I got 2 fish n chips , coleslaw and tar tar sauce. Fish was crispy outside and soft inside. I felt like fries was... not salted but it might be just me. Food was ready in like 10 minutes and the lady owner was friendly. Overall good experienceand if I want fish n chips next time - I will consider this place 100% Read more

Unfortunately not your typical H.Salt. arrived at 7:15am and was told that I could only order to go... I live 50 miles away, so... I sat at an old table outside in the cold. I ordered the London Special and the fish didn't come close to ANYTHING I've EVEReaten at an H.Salt. very disappointing. Way-over cooked extremely small/thin fish patties. Read more
