Looking for Indian cuisine in and around Reston/Fairfax then you got hit this spot, upscale Indian food with exotic drinks... perfect for b'day or anniversary occasion or if you just want to have a good time. Our server Bhakti took us through the foodjourney, was very engaging and friendly. She was the Shakti (the force) behind our night out dinner. Bombay velvet's owned bysame owner as 'Punjabi By Nature' and very authentic Punjabi style. This place is going to get an upgrade in Jan/Feb 2023 makingit more lively ... so try them out ... Great place with good ambience and some amazing food and drinks. The servers are friendly. Some may find it a tad bit expensive... compared to the quantities served. But there is no compromise on the quality. Read more

They made us pay for 2 platters on a recent spl day and just served single plate of salad, main course and dessert. But the bill... clearly mentioned 2 of these items. Though the food was good, this spoiled the mood of occasion! Read more

The ambience is stunning. The attention to detail, the weighty copper cutlery, the luxe sofas, the gorgeous chandeliers all... contribute to an upscale dining experience. The cocktails are wonderful, though a bit too expensive, the food is good but theportions are miniscule and the quality is average compared to any other upscale Indian restaurant in the area or in DC. Thesevice is good and family-friendly. Overall a nice experience, knocked out one star for the over-pricing Read more
