Husband surprised me again. This time to a visit to Jinya Ramen Bar. To say was well worth the drive over the mountain is not... doing justice. Our first time and the evening started out perfect with our server Eric, his friendly personality and knowledgeof the menu set us at ease, and would you as well. Starting our visit out perfectly. Make sure to ask for Eric should you visit.We started out with the Gyoza which was very tasty, and cooked perfectly. Then we had the Spicy Tuna Tacos, oh goodness pactwith flavor, highly recommend. We then had the Jinya Bun, oh damn. The pork belly center was rendered perfectly so each bitemelted in your mouth. Without hesitation order 1, 2 heck 3 more. They are that good. We then over on and husband had the JinyaTonkotsu Black Ramen, his words "flippen awesome." I had the Chicken Chasu Bowl, oh goodness the flavor was spot on. The chickentender and juicy. Had a brunch. The taste was good, the portion was small and bad customer service. The server let us sit in the far corner right... under the ice-cold blowing AC when the restaurant was almost empty. When I call her, she keeps pretending to haven't seen orheard while she was yawning. And keep ignoring us when we're trying to make our order. I felt discriminated against! If you'redoing business in the restaurant industry, you need to work on your employees! They need to be more attentive rather thanyawning and standing in the corner. Never coming back! Read more

Amazing food, great staff. Our waiter Frankel, was the best!! My friend has taken me out for my birthday celebrations and we had... not asked for a birthday treat or anything, but Frankel jumped on the occasion and surprised us with a some birthday treat!! Itwas totally unexpected and amazingly humbling to be waited by such sensitive and amazing person. Kudos to the him and team atJINYA supporting their customers.
