We had popcorn to start instead of bread which was a nice change. Guess bone-in wings are not being sent because all every... restaurant had was boneless wings. I paid for Buffalo chicken sandwich. Sauce was Buffalo but not the meat. Great service. Read more
Decided to try this place for the first time on Friday night around 8:30. Waited 15 minutes for a table which is normal for a... weekend. We sat down at 8:45 with our menus and was not greeted by a server until 9:00pm. We were thinking about leaving at thatpoint, but I wanted to give them a chance. The server was Lisa, a very friendly lady, but I could see they had her at roughly 5tables. We ordered beverages and the meals at the same time. Lisa brought out our beverages and my soup fairly quickly. It was9:30 and we still did not have our meals. Lisa kept coming by saying it was coming. I eventually walked to Lisa and asked her toplace the meals in to go boxes because our son fell asleep by this time. Before Lisa could do this, the manager and a runnerbrought our meals out and I asked for to go boxes. Instead of the manager making it right or even saying a words to us, hewalked away. I still tipped Lisa because it was not her fault of course, but this restaurant does not operate well. We ended uppaying $60 for mediocre meals that needed to be warmed up when we got home. Also, what's with popcorn as a complimentarystarter? Needless to say, I do realize it was Friday but go to any Texas Roadhouse on a Friday evening and the customer serviceand speed is superb. Came here for a quick meal before going to The airport. The 99 is a classic New England restaurant chain known for having deep... ties with the communities they operate in. Very nice waitress who expedited our order so we wouldn't be late to the airport. TheFrench onion soup was lacking, it seems as if the piece of bread they use is too big and it absorbed all of the broth. Theflavor was slightly too much wine and not enough beefy broth. Lots of onions which Is fine. The wings and skins sampler is byfar the best appetizer on the menu. Nice crispy cheesy potatoes and definitely order the chicken with gold fever sauce. Probablymy favorite sauce of all time. Everyone had satisfactory meals, my dad commented that his all star burger was a much biggerportion than he used to get. From past experience, avoid steaks at the 99. The seafood / chicken / ground beef / turkey aregreat but I've always found the steak lacking. Read more
I am so disappointed. I ordered delivery and the country fried chicken was thin, burnt, and hard. Don't want to be negative or... anything because this is the 1st time this happened to me. I'm just disappointed. I just think the delivery orders should beinspected before it's sent to the customer. I get delivery from here at least 1 or 2 times a week. Read more
