Love DeMaino's restaurant Been coming here forever. Never disappointed with food, always fresh & always delicious. Nice variety... everything from traditional italian dishes to fresh seafood, beef & wraps. Love their homemade soups too. I really don't like to write negative reviews, but this place must be avoided at all cost. Went on 10/09 and maybe the chef was... having a bad day the night me and my party went, but the food was horrible this night. We ordered basic chicken and Vealparmigiana dishes. The sauce was watery and acidity, gave me heartburn all night. The chicken and veal was paper thin and ofcourse was the frozen kind. The pasta over cooked... But worse then that was the service.... Holy cow, I dont know where tostart but we would have been better off serving ourselves. The waitress serves 3 out of 4 entrees and is puzzled when we askedabout the 4th entree... smh Dont say I didnt warn you.... Read more
We tried this highly rated Italian restaurant while waiting for our cruise departure. It was a fast 8 minute walk from our... hotel. We were quickly seated and placed our drink orders. They serve a nice basket of assorted breads. We split the ravioliwith sausage along with steamed broccoli and a Caesar salad. Flavor was good on everything. The sauce is way too soupy and theravioli had a cool center. Our waitress sent it back to the kitchen and a new plate was brought to us. If they will thicken thesauce, the dish will be much better. I just ordered food here for the first time and last time! I cook Italian food and that's not it! I ordered shrimp Primavera... linguine and it tasted horrible like they mixed flour and water together and tossed the pasta in it! NO FLAVOR AT ALL and notenough alfredo, it was dry and didn't look fresh. Just a very bad experience from an Italian restaurant ???? Read more
Probably the place with the most tasteless food in town, but that?s not the worst bc I understand what might taste good for you... might not be good for me. I?m writing this review bc I think they cheat me out of my money. I paid $90 for three plates, two ofthe sea food plates had any food at all besides French fries. They literally filled our plate with French fries. This is a zerostar place, fake people. Read more
Very good pizza, maybe best on Broadway. It's a thick, fluffy crust (not NYC style). Very friendly attentive service.
We got take out from here tonight for the first time. It was fabulous. The portions were huge. We both ordered veal dishes. The... veal was so tender and there was so much of it. A salad was included with the dinners and delicious italian bread. There's notmany places that include all of this for the price. I'll be ordering from here often. Read more
