What a transcendent experience. YES, this is a Gas Station.YES, it is called ?blisters?. YES, it is right off the freeway. YES,... there is no sign out side telling you this is a restaurant. Everyone was raving about this place and how good the food is, I order a 3 meat plate and a Buffalo chicken sandwich. The meet... plate and frys were good, but can't make up for the rancid chemical taste of the chicken sandwich, they put blue cheese on itand my wife who has had it before said that's not what it's supposed to taste like. It tasted like I was eating a can of ether. They were quick to respond and look in to the issue and contact the supplier about the issue. Very professional and willconsider returning. Read more
First time here tonight and it did not disappoint!! I originally wanted the cheese steak sandwich but they ran out so I got a... brisket one instead. Blisters just sold? I had been going there since they opened? was #1? now never again!! Ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, one with... Mac and cheese, and mushrooms(which I paid for , but did not get), and fresh onion ?. The other fresh onion. We got them, theywere soo soggy, you can?t pick them up. Lettuce was really bad, not one mushroom!! Mac and cheese was so peppery, it?s notedible. Good side, actual burgers (meat) was good, and the cris-cross fries. This place is unassuming as it shares space with a gas station convenience store, however, it serves really good BBQ as... evidenced by its popularity. Our party of three arrived just ahead of the lunch rush as we noticed a line of 20 people form aswe found a table. We tried the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with brisket loaded fries, coleslaw, and scones. They were outof baked beans and substituted for the scones, which are served with a delicious honey butter of frosting thickness. Highlyrecommend. Read more
