We came in and they would not accept our coupon on their receipt. It doesn?t say anywhere that the coupon expires. Then they... charged us $1.19 for sour cream without telling us. You realize that Walmart sells a tub of sour cream for like $0.99 right? Youguys are selling sour cream like it?s gold. The restaurant was filthy. Not a clean table in the house. Floor was a mess. Andthere were only 2 forks left and one of them was dirty. We won?t be returning to costa. Cafe Rio is better anyway. Read more
I finally convinced my wife to try Costa instead of Cafe Rio and will never be able to do that again. The employees were a bunch... of college kids dorking around, the portions are tiny compared to Wendy?s value meal. My wife?s steak was 100% uneadible fattypieces. Would recommend everyone stay clear of this location. Read more
More often then not, this Costa Vida location is 5 stars. There have been many times, however, that I get wilted black... lettuce. I?m always shocked by what is put on plates by people who probably wouldn?t eat what they are serving. Great burrito,gross lettuce. Read more
Lettuce on the salad was brown, black beans were more like soup they were so runny, quesadilla was soggy, portions were stingy,... and service was average at best. Not your best effort Costa Vida. Read more
When I go through the main line the food is excellent, but looks like the online orders use old ingredients. The grilled chicken... in my burrito was hard to cut through and was tough, almost like jerky. The beans were also hard, and the lettuce was wilted. Read more
Long lines as expected with BYU-I move in week. Staff did a good job at moving people through the line. Food was decent but... disappointed that the sweet pork had very large chunks of firm pork that weren?t shredded. Also the guacamole had bigger piecesof firm avocado. Some confusion at the register area trying to keep all the entrees with the correct groups. I admit it wassuper busy and chaotic. Read more
Overall nice experience! The scoops of sour cream and guacamole were a little on the small side especially since their guacamole... is chunky which I like. There seemed to be a few extra employees than needed. They kept bumping into each other. One employeehad to pull her mask off to be able to clearly communicate with the rest of the team which I'm sure gets annoying. They shouldjust put up those plexiglass dividers so they don't have to wear masks (not that those work either but for all the fear mongersout there) Also they had little room for their to go orders they were just kind of stacked on the soda fridge and counter. Andmy nachos did sit on the end of the oven for a minute or two before somebody realized I was waiting for them. For how manyemployees there shouldn't have been any waiting for food that was ready. You guys need to look up the law of diminishingreturns. Flavor on the sweet pork nachos and salad were good. Their vinaigrette is very very flavorful! If you are coming to Costa Vida, you probably already know you like the food but what set this Costa Vida apart from others I've... been to are the employees. They all seemed happy and positive, like they are happy to be at work. As we ate, I watched and Ithink I know why they are happy. During the time we are, I saw a manager sit down with two different employees and ask how workwas going and praise them about specific good things they were doing at work. He also wished one a happy birthday, fist-bumpedanother, asked another what his weekend plans were, and several other conversations I couldn't hear. Kudos to that manager.Totally impressed with this location; Costa Vida tastes the same wherever you go, but you don't always see such a positive workenvironment and it just makes it feel good to be there.
