We just had takeout at this fantastic place. Manicotti, Spaghetti w/ Meatballs, and Penne with sausage and peppers. Everything... was super fresh, with sauce that spoke to me. Carryout service was super efficient at order and pickup. Prices were superreasonable. Sadly only open 5 days from 5-8pm. Best Italian in town. Read more
Service was excellent! Very efficient and courteous staff. I got the veal Parmigiano. Didn't really care for it. Don't get me... wrong, I did eat it, I just didn't like it. Normally, i love veal Parmigiano. My husband took a bite and he said it was good. Myhusband also enjoyed his meal too. Just disappointing to spend $80 on 2 meals and only one of us enjoying it. I was so bummed because I brought my parents from out of town here because they wanted old school Italian, and I had a great... meal here last summer. This meal was night and day. The preparation was lackluster and flavors were very basic. In comparison toother Italian restaurants with the same price point, it was quite disappointing. The service at Scali is top tier! We were seated quickly, although I do recommend making a reservation seeing as the place... seemed to fill up pretty fast. Our waitress was very nice and welcoming. With it being our first time there she gave usappetizer recommendations and entrée recommendations. The Prosciutto appetizer was amazing!! I ordered the Spaghetti andMeatballs for my entree the sauce was perfect and the noodles were Al dente. The meatballs were cooked perfectly and supertender. I will definitely be going to Scali again! I also want to add that I noticed one of the waitresses helping out anolder gentleman out to his car and I thought that was a very nice thing to do. I also observed a waitress running out to one ofthe customers outside that had forgotten his phone in the restaurant. Those are things you don't see these days and I reallyappreciate how kind and caring the staff is. Read more
