During our outing today, we found Winking Lizard tucked away at the end of a strip mall. Advertised as similar to Walhburgers.... Had to give it a try. 5? for sure. Large menu selection, so many dishes to try. Our meal today was a spectacular Grilled ChickenTeriyaki, with baked beans, steamed broccoli and garlic bread. Flavor, incredible. Portion size great for the price. Our Waiterwas friendly, took good care of us. Atmosphere was comfortable, even though the place was busy, we didn't feel crowded. The food was just ok and the service was too. I waited for a good 10 minutes after receiving my food before I could even eat it... because I was never given silverware. The burger was burnt outside and still pink inside so it was really dry. My husbandfinished his drink before food came out and was never asked or given any refill. Overall I wasn't impressed. Absolute gem of a place!! Has everything you could want and more. Service 10/10 super friendly staff, always checking in with us... and sweet. Food 10/10 we got the lizard freckles (deep fried pickle chips) and the western burgers with loaded fries. Was morethan enough food and took what we did not eat home. Price 10/10 food was price fairly and really above and beyond. The placeitself was also very clean and nice. Wish we had one closer to were I lived. The food was delicious. I had the BBQ chicken with fries and coleslaw and my wife had the battered Haddock (highly recommend, it... was cooked perfectly). The staff was wonderful and attentive and lots of TVs for March Madness. Read more
Had a great experience here. I live nearby and for some reason thought it was a bar but turns out it's more of a sports bar... atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and service was friendly & attentive. We tried the boneless wings, pizza, nachos and loadedfries. The wings were cooked well and sauce was good, the pizza was pretty good and was well above expectations. Nachos weregood but the toppings to chips ratio was a little off and the fries were very satisfying. Our server was on top of drinks, Ididn't have to stare at an empty glass half the visit and the long Island ice teas were some of the best I've had. As a biggerperson who hates booths, I really appreciated the selection of tables, short and tall. Very happy with my visit, will definitelybe going back. Read more
