The pot stickers and ribs were good but the shrimp and beef entrees were terrible. The beef sauce tasted of nothing but sugar... and the shrimp didn't taste fresh, the sauce was sweet without other flavors and the peppers weren't good (they claim to be'farm to chopsticks' and I dont really understand what local farm they're getting shrimp from). In fact, I saw no mention ofwhich farms they're getting the food from. The food was served barely warm, which I also found strange and unappetizing. As forthe drinks, the mai tai was mostly ice with barely any drink and the wine poor was cheap as well. Although, both tasted good. Finally, when we sat down the waiter asked if we wanted still or sparkling and I assumed that it was tap water on the houseuntil he came to the table with bottles. Seems strange to underhandedly sell water in an area that has terrific tap water.Anyway if the food were good I'd go back but it wasn't. Kind of heartbroken because I love Chinese food and just moved here andthere's nothing good around. If you want great Chinese food, go to Kings Imperial in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Read more

I was very disappoint this place did not live up to the hype it had. The food was way over priced for such a little portion and... it way too spicy for any normal person to consume. This was a waste of $200 , I could?ve spent 1/4 that amount at differentChinese food place and get way better food. Read more

My Husband, Mom in Law and I are visiting relatives in Stanfordville, NY. We order meals from The Golden Dragon Restaurant last... night. We could not have been more disappointed. It was literally uneatable! The five of us were extremely disappointed. We?reshocked that it received so many 5 star reviews. We threw threw most of it away. I gave it a 1star in order to write thisreview. It doesn?t even deserve that. We feel our $132.00 was thrown in the garbage along with the disgusting food. Read more

A well needed Chinese spot.
