Group of five. Had a delicious fish fry at Backwaters; side note - new owners, Only complaint was the lack of fizz in... cocktails. A flat drink is always a bummer. Fantastic fish fry! Breading was well seasoned,light, and crunchy. Delicious coleslaw, tartar sauce, and Ole fashioned. Relaxed... atmosphere with tvs for sports and wonderful view of the wi river. Read more

First visit and we'll be back - excellent and attentive service, I had the BLT Wrap and potato salad - delicious, she had the... Backwaters cheese sandwich and fries - also delicious. First time customer. We went on a Friday night to try out their fish fry and loved it. It was not to greasy. The breading... actually had flavor. Husband had the elk burger. Even though they were short staffed for a bit, they still were faster than mostplaces I have seen. Look forward to check it out in the future. Read more
