I've lived in this area almost my entire life, passed this restaurant several times on Foothill Blvd. & never once stopped in... until last night. When I pulled up to the building I immediately felt an old Route 66 vibe, especially since the building has aold Route 66 mural painted on the side. Its definitely kind of hard not to get that feeling of being on a road trip stopping inreal quick for a burger and shake. Once I entered I heard the classic oldies playing through the speakers, making me feel that old classic diner feel. The food was a delicious, I got the Pastrami Burger w/ fried Zucchini (Bomb!!!) While my husband gotthe Steak Sandwich Dinner w/ fried Mushrooms. Any substitute I asked for was full filled happily. Because with the dinner itwould've come with fries and onion rings but they replaced no problem (small fee). As I waited for the food I was entertainedby all the little nick nacks they've collected & put up on the wall. The food was ready in a timely manner, so I'd say all inall I had a unforgettable experience here. One of my favorite spots!!! In completely honesty to be transparent the area is not the best. It definitely doesn?t bother me,... or stops me from going the food makes up for it by far! Their service is also a thumbs up in my book! It does get pretty busy atnight. Definitely one of my top recommendations in the city of Rialto! Read more
Definitely wouldn?t recommend. Upon arriving at the drive thru, I was rushed to order when there was no one waiting behind me.... The boy taking the orders seemed to be having a bad day & should have decided to stay home instead of coming into a low payingjob he didn?t approve of. Customer service should be priority at any establishment especially when dealing with food, people arechoosing to spend their hard earned money at this business instead elsewhere. After being rushed to order after observing themenu for literally one minute, I decided to leave and order somewhere else. This was beyond disappointing considering I?ve cometo this location many times before. To management; consider doing more thorough interviews to learn about the customer serviceskills employees may lack, they are representing your business. My wife and I are regulars here it?s Sunday night 3/13/22 I called around 9:05pm they said they closed at 10pm.So my wife... decided to take a drive to the other side of town which is 15mins away so my wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo just tofind out their out of bacon ???????? really lol .so I decided to get grilled onions instead...since they have good French frieshere am ok with them not having bacon..since tams burger in Rialto changed their fires.they haven?t been the same.????My wifeordered a double cheeseburger combo no onions..So when she got back home I was very disappointed cause my French fries were overcooked they looked like chips.Wasn?t gona call and go back while my burger got cold.Cant believe they have the never to givethem to us like that.Then my wife?s burger had onions.I really expected better food service from this place. Was late at night when I arrived and the owner of the Wigwam motel told me at this hour the closest place was Chris's just down... the road. I pulled in and the place was lit up like nothing I had seen in years. A true step back in time on Route 66. I had aburger a shake and fries to go took them back to my Teepee room and enjoyed what I must say was an awesome late night dinner andexceeded my expectations for sure. I'm not a fast food guy normally and can't stand that one M place so this was a great treatfor sure. You can even create whatever kind of burger they haven't already. A Must See! Read more
