I wanted to enjoy pomfret and chose this place as this is an authentic Bangladeshi restaurant. I have 14 miles one way to be... here and the preparation didn't disappoint me at all. I just loved the flavors of the pomfret and jasmine rice with it. Theambience is nice and this place is a heaven for meat and sea food lovers. Read more

Being a Bengali and a Bangladeshi I am really proud and happy to find this Bengali restaurant in the heart of Dallas. I ate... their Special Beef Tehari, and Dhakaia Biryani and I am overwhelmed by the authenticity of their Bengali biryani cuisine! Ifelt I was literally brought back to Bangladesh!! This is the biggest compliment I could ever give to a restaurant in theUS. Really amazing food! Can't wait to try their kabab items next time! Their chai is also very delicious but one thing I couldadvice as a customer is to serve them in tea cups like they serve in Bangladesh. It's just an added eye candy! Overall, I highlyrecommend this restaurant. Read more

We ordered several dishes for take out. The chicken lollipop or butterfly chicken was raw inside. It wasn’t undercooked. It... was raw. I had already taken a bite, when I noticed, because the texture was so strange. We live 20 minutes away, but we’retold we needed to bring it back for a replacement. Why would I want a replacement? I called and told them that I didn’t wantanyone else to get sick, and was concerned about the well being of their restaurant. The managers (I spoke with more than one)were extraordinarily rude, and didn’t believe that their chicken could be raw. They refused a refund without seeing thechicken. While I understand why, I can’t believe the arrogance and the lack of concern about something that’s a big deal.Raw chicken is no joke. Additionally, the quality of their food has gone downhill. While it’s always been hit or miss, it’sgotten worse. *Response to owner -The managers didn’t understand me, and were patronizing from the beginning of ourconversations. I didn’t threaten to close the store. I said that I had called out of concern of what would happen if someonegot sick, as I wouldn’t want their store to be shut down. I said that after their responses, I no longer cared whether theirstore was shut down. His response to this was that I was threatening him. He told me I could bring the chicken back for areplacement. I told him I don’t want a replacement, this belongs in the toilet. He laughed at me and asked how I could bringit back if it was in the toilet. I’m sorry that he didn’t take the time to process what I said. I didn’t ask for a refundfor the whole meal, just the chicken. The managers’ said that they don’t know whether their people are being truthful, asthey have been cheated before. While I understand that they’ve had bad experiences, and I’m sorry about that. I think it’sunfortunate that they approach their customers with an assumption of dishonesty. It’s disrespectful to us. Read more

First time trying this Indian restaurant. Last one I visited was in Ann Arbor, Michigan and I gotta say this place was just as... good, if not better. Pictured is the Biryani with beef (bad lighting/at my house) but taste was excellent and customer serviceis great. I ordered extra spice level 5 but beware that will have your mouth on fire (which I like). The beef was perfect and sotender. The samosas are definitely a favorite and I love the sauces that come with it. Excellent pricing. You can’t go wrong. Will be back again :) Read more

One of the best Bangladeshi and Indian Subcontinental food place in DFW. They have two very different type of Biryani and both... are delicious. Their other entre menu are also delicious. My favorite is their sizzling platter. It's a treat to watch andabsolutely something to have if you are dining in. Appetizers are also good. One should try their in house special sauce withthe appetizers. Chameli chicken and Butterfly Chicken are two of our favorites! Environment wise it's a very clean and tidyplace to dine in. Wall graphics and funny quotes in Bengali will tickle the humor bud for the diners! Read more
