Owner greeted us. Of the staff, ladies much warmer than the man who waited on us last night. Maybe he's new. I desperately... needed a fork, which finally got his attention about. He placed the soup, salad, drinks to the right side of us to move to infront of us ourselves. Odd to me. I needed a knife after found the steak teriyaki was a bit tough though tasty and already cutinto thin strips. I never bothered the waiter about it. Salad dressing was so good, but lettuce was in very big pieces andnothing to cut it up with. Tempura squash and sweet potatoes ok. Soup not very hot but tasty. Saki was inexpensive. Californiaroll excellent. My friend ordered teriyaki chicken, but got a fried pork dish. She didnt tell them. I tasted the pork. Tastybut dry.I would go back and handle situation better. Decorated for Christmas. I did enjoy myself as the eclectic crowd wasenergetic. Read more

The Mapo Tofu was amazing. I've never had it before and have a feeling I will be craving this dish often. The kung pao chicken... was a very large serving and mixed with the Mapo Tofu over rice... Probably the best kung pao chicken I have had. Read more

Great place and convenient location. This place serves a variety of rolls, Japanese and Chinese dishes. I ordered the shrimp... tempura, sliced pork and bowl of rice. The food was delicious and not too pricey. I will visit again to try the Chinese threecups chicken. Read more

Overall food was delicious. I do wish they gave more for the price for certain dishes, but I'm happy overall. I got one of the... bento boxes but the tonkatsu wasn't as good as I was hoping but the box was full of food which I liked. The house special porkrice was delicious and made me very nostalgic of my childhood. The boneless basil chicken was delicious and tasty. The housespecial sauce flounder was sweet and tangy. The beef with scallion was super good and they gave a lot. The pork with bamboo andtofu was spicy and amount given was good. The udon noodles was also sort of tangy, but I wish it had more meat inside. I wouldstill go back to try other dishes and it's definitely good great place to go for lunch or dinner. Read more

I've... eaten here for over the past 8 years and can tell you their food is incredible. If you're lucky enough to be served by the ownernicknamed "crazy mama", she treats everyone like family! Located in the heart of China Town | DFW, Genroku is a great place forfamily and friends to meet together and share a meal with great taste, value and portions.
