K1 Richardson is awesome and highly recommend! I feel lucky to live close to this K1 Speed location, so if you live in the DFW,... you should definitely check out this place! The karts have about 20 HP so it can be really thrilling to experience the torqueand the grip on this indoor track. The staff is very friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. I have raced theregular adult races with friends and race the monthly Challenge GP (grand prix). If it is your first time, I recommend gettingfamiliar with the karts and the track layout and doing standard adult races with friends multiple days before doing the GPracing series. Read more

Absolutely amazing! I definitely will be coming back here again. Thank you Jacob for letting my son and I do a run after you... were closed and we never heard our names. And the extras that were gifted as well. It was worth the hour and a half wait. Reallymade my kid feel special. You have gained a customer for life. Thanks again, will be coming back soon. Read more

We came on a Tuesday and had a buy 2 races get one free which is a great deal and comes to around $50 ($16 a race) + plus a 1... year membership fee of $7.95 which allows you to keep your scores and pays for a head sock which is nice. The staff are superhelpful, nice and busy all the time. It was not that busy and we waited about 45 minutes in between races on a Tuesday at 5pmbut then came the leagues so we had to wait around about an hour and fifteen minutes before our final race. Not bad but wouldhave been nice to know when we checked in to race. Two of our junior racers were told that they would probably not get to raceagain that night because of all the future adult races signed up. I had family from out of town with us who does not have a K1near their home so they lost that final race. The efficiency of K1 can be questioned. It may be lack of staff or cars needingextra charge but there would be times when no one was racing. Three people would manage a race and two that I saw at the desk.No one was setting up people in their cars for the next race or would wait until there was 1 or 2 laps left in the current race. They have three rows of adult cars and one row of junior cars that could have people in them I would think. I would be morewilling to wait 30-40 minutes if the track was running with cars. As a beginner, the racing is fun and intense. Not your dadscarnival go karts for sure. Be ready to be bumped by more experienced riders. The track is meant to be driven for time sobumping to be first is definitely not the way to go but it does happen. They challenge of the track was fun and figuring outhow to cut time was worth more than one race. The juniors had a great time too. Overall a good time for our group that wouldhave been great if we could have have less wait time between races and our juniors could have completed their final race. Read more

We were visiting from Los Angeles where there are also K1's. My 12 year old son and husband LOVE this place so imagine our... surprise when my son Googled go kart racing and found K1. One of my favorite features about driving here is that no matterwhere you race in the US, your scores and rank are kept in the cloud. The race operator noticed my son's record and gave himprops. Another cool thing is that we were able to drive pretty much back to back without much wait time in between races. I'mnot sure if it was because it was a Monday but in In Los Angeles, no matter which day or time, you'll wait about 1 1/2 hours torace and you're lucky to race once every 30-45 minutes. This location was much more laid back and way less busy; just what Ilike. The locations in California have a bar, which is strange because, since this is a chain, they're all set up alike, theyproudly display a "Don't Drink And Drive" sign! But not in Texas! Hell, when y'all say "Don't drink and drive", y'all meanit! The staff was super-friendly and seemed to like their job, which made for a better experience. Overall, we all had a goodtime and we've definitely put this on our to-do list when we're back in town. Read more

We had a corporate event for The 20 / Roland Technology Group. We had an absolute blast. First ran 10 or so cars. Then split up... into groups of five or six and that was much more fun, we were able to open up the speed and really have better racing. Much funhere would love to come back with the family Read more
