Ate at the restaurant for the first time. Drink was good, service was good but I wasn't thrilled with the food. I didn't hate it... I just don't think I'd go back again. My poor sister and her boyfriend weren't to pleasant with theirs Read more

My burger was cooked correctly but the lettuce was outside leaves and very tough and bitter and should not have been used. Also... no condiments were provided other than ketchup and the server never came back to see if we needed anything. Read more

The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The salmon was the best I've ever had! My husband had the NY Strip... steak, which was also delicious. Read more

We would give no stars if possible. Whole place is worn and cluttered (the box of glue traps for mice near the entrance wasn’t... encouraging…). Ate on the deck. A limited menu and chose to play it safe.ordered a diet coke and a regular coke. Diet wasfine, but my husband’s regular had a weird metallic taste. He set it aside. I ordered a “Cobb” salad. Romaine lettuce(good), bacon (fine), a few cherry tomatoes (ok) and shredded cheese. But a hard boiled egg was so old, not only was most ofthe white missing because it wouldn’t peel but the white had separated into layers. It tasted awful. My husband had fish andchips which he assumed was frozen and therefore safe. That’s about right. But nothing good. The young waitress was verynice. View of the lake but across worn out chairs and seating on the lawn. The bathroom was gross and had no paper towels. Someone at the Lakehouse likes flowers (pretty hanging baskets). The rest of the property is neglected, dirty and utterlyuncared for. We can’t imagine staying here. Keep going on Rt. 20. Do not eat here. There’s a Dairyland in Sharon 5-10minutes east with good ice cream and burgers etc, with nice people and it’s clean. I’d take their food and picnic tablesany day over the Lakehouse. Read more

I took my wife on a "Date night". Sat on the patio waiting for a waitress for 20 minutes. There were others also waiting. It... took 40 minutes to get our salad. Another 20 min for a cold dinner. Read more

I know why these chaps are the best spot in town. No, unfortunately it’s not because the food was mouthwatering or the drinks... were scrumptious…it’s because there’s not a single shred of competition in a 50 kilometer radius. Thank the Lords andLadies for that because these guys would be outta business faster than frying an egg in Nevada on a hairless man’s back in themiddle of the summer. We had a private event here…which was supposed to be open bar. Welp, I guess we got swindled causedrinks were definitely not free and I guess music wasn’t either…it was so quiet, I swear I could hear the flys eating thestale ham in the corner of the chaotic, clustered front entrance. On a positive note, the view was breathtaking…if you’reable to look past the oddball characters endlessly wandering around the property…clutch your pearls ladies and hold tight.Your pearls aren’t the only things you’ll have to hold tight…keep those bladders fully closed….it’s a jungle in thosebathrooms…and this ain’t your child’s jungle book I’m talkin about, lads. God bless. You’ll need it when trying to sitdown in the broken chairs out on the deck. Once the event was over, we booked it outta there and hightailed it back tocivilization. Read more
