My precise rating is 3.5 stars, but I have to round it one way or the other. First, food is definitely the sole highlight here.... Sandwich was great - fresh ingredients and tasted good. Meatball soup had a good assortment of ingredients and was tasty. Myfour point pizza review of the Colonel Mustard: Crust: 5/5 - Good consistent thickness, just the right texture, and awesomecharred flavor. Sauce: 5/5 - I don't believe I've ever had mustard on a pizza before, nor would I have considered it, but itworks very well with this combination. Described as 'honey mustard' it was more mustard than sweetness. Toppings: 4/5 - Goodfreshness and distribution of ingredients. There was considerably less cabbage than I expected from the menudescription. Preparation: 4/5 - Well cooked, and again I will emphasize the fire charring was most excellent. The cabbage wasdry and not tossed in a BBQ aioli, so one of the ingredients was totally missing. So overall the food was really great, butservice left much to be desired. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, but most of the staff appeared visibly stressed. Ittook only 15 minutes to receive our food, but we never saw our server again after that, and after waiting for a box and thecheck after we were done eating, another server finally picked up on my staring and realized we were ready. No one ever askedhow our meal was. FOH organization was lacking, and everyone was trying to do everything which was actually counterproductive.My takeaway is to order their excellent food to go in the future and skip the dining room. Great takeout experience on a roadtrip. Pizzas were read on time and we all loved the flavors and pizza crust. We had one pizza... that wasn't quite to order (asked for no mushrooms and still got them), but worked out for our group. It's definitely worthgoing out of your way to get pizza at Stone+Stick whether you need a break on a road trip, want to get take away, or just enjoya family night out. Read more
The best wood fired pizza shop I have tried so far. They do a traditional neopolitan pizza, they also have many with unique... toppings using the same simple, fresh ingredient philosophy. Their crust havs flavor and is the perfect thickness, providing thecrunch we expect in a wood oven pizza without becoming cracker like. Stick+Stone should definitely be on your pizza short-list. We ordered the Buffalo chicken & Honey Badger. The Buffalo chicken was the better of the two with more flavor. It was good pizza... but for the price you can find a better place to get pizza. Read more
Food tasted fine but way overpriced. Pasta and pizza were bit dry and pizza got chewy towards the end. Restaurant interior was... really nice and good for watching sports in some areas. Chairs were bit uncomfortable to sit though. Service was fast. Read more
I really enjoyed the pizza here. Their dough recipe is delicious- airy & chewy with the perfect amount of char from the wood... stove. They also have unique pizza options to try which I appreciate, as well as a vegan pizza menu. If you like mushrooms Ihighly recommend the funghi pizza with red pepper flakes liberally sprinkled on it (the Dijon cream sauce is wonderful and pairsso good with the mushrooms and caramelized onions) . The only food item I didn't completely enjoy was the salad. It was agreat combo of items, but the dressing was very bland. Had there been a more flavorful dressing with proper seasoning the saladcould have been top notch. The restaurant also has a great vibe decor wise (love the pizza art prints), but the chairs are superuncomfortable. In warmer weather they have outdoor seating with string lights which gives a nice date night ambiance. Read more
