Giovannis is a restaurant staple to the Town of Richlands, Va. A restaurant that has withstood the changing times, and has... progressively stayed open and on top of the ever so changing logistics when it comes to any franchised restaurant. During ourvisit to giovannis pizza we held the restaurant to the same critiqument that any other restaurant is to be held, while measuringdifferences or changes that had been seen since the last time we had ate at this location. Giovannis has continued itsreputation of great food, where everything received was hot and tasty. Our salads were fresh, and made to order. However,customer service and proper service was lacking as the beginning stages of receiving our drinks and salads were roughly 20minutes after ordering. Noting that during our dining experience, dining room attendance was low with only two groups of otherdining guests within the restaurant. I do not believe the concern was due to the waitress, but rather the logistics of therestaurant. Past years of visiting and reviewing Giovannis, staffing never changed and appears to still be a bare bones workcrew. Add staffing issues on top of door dash orders, where door dash orders or over the phone orders were or appeared to beretained as the top priority. Dine in customers want fast paced, attentive workers. Although this may be a changing factor intodays restaurant expectations. Most restaurants ensure staffing is up to the extra workload of taking on these additionalresponsibilities. Giovannis needs to look at bringing on additional assistance by looking at the new logistics of rising foodrestaurants, while deciding what tier of restaurant it wishes to be. If not there may be future troubles ahead. Regardless, afuture visit will be in store to see what changes, and what additions have been added to take care of these issues. Read more

Typical Giovanni's...good Italian (though it's pretty Americanized). Great salads.
Paid over $40 for 8 pieces of chicken tenders, two sides of fries and an 8" cheese stick. $8.50 for 4 chicken tenders $4 for... side of fries So then $15 for a tiny slab of bread with just cheese on it The food was good, but those prices are ridiculous. Read more
Wouldn't even give one star but had to so I could leave a review. Food is always greasy. Fries and tots taste like onions,... probably use same grease to cook in. In the past 10 years their food has went nothing but downhill! Not worth the money nor timein all our minds Read more
I love their pizza sauce, first off. Second off I love the amount of cheese they put on. The only reason I can't give this place... 5 stars is because my pizza is cooked differently every time I order. I like when the crust is crispy and the cheese is nicelybrowned, but when they get busy the crust isn't exactly cooked to perfection. Read more
