Came just for snacks and drinks one evening. Pretty empty, but it was midweek. Drinks are typical pub/chain restaurant-style and... nothing to get excited about. Food was pretty good actually, and our server was friendly and awesome. Everything is pricedpretty fairly for a tourist locale. And the view we got over the harbour during sunset was very nice. Amazing food! Great service! Good size portions for the mains! Only negative is the fact that they serve plain white rice with... the entrees?they Should be serving a pilaf or wild rice at the minimum. Read more
Great food and fantastic service. We were demanding in what view we wanted and they were very friendly about it. The views from... the patio is worth waiting to be seated outside. Salmon burger and the black cod fish and chips are both excellent. Read more
First time being to catch and it was a nice cozy place. Overlooks the water and they have a nice patio. We had a bigger group... so we sat inside but next to the window. Food was good and everything had great taste and the portion sizes were big. The onlything our table thought was a negative was that service was kinda slow. Might have been a miscommunication of when we wantedmains to come out, but we waited awhile for them. Read more
Lovely staff and lovely view. It for got where we were sitting and there was no problem moving us over to a cooler spot. I... should add, this was indoors and not on their patio. Personally I don't mind the heat but one of the people with us haschallenges with it. Fives for the staff and view however the food was just ok. My fish was over cooked, as was my friends. Thefish tacos my other guest had, she felt were spicy. Hmm, I didn't think so but isn't that darn customer always right (not true).The chicken stir fry my other guest had, was in her words, average. Great service and great view but the food was a bit of a let down. The Calamari and ribs were pretty good, tender and had great... taste. The Mains on the other hand was not. The Miso-Glazed Black Cod was flavorful but was overcooked so it was tough and theyleft the bones in the fish. Other than when they serve a whole fish, I can't remember any other restaurants that served a pieceof fish with bones in it. With the Fish & Chip, the pieces of fish was pretty big and tasted pretty good but the chips were wayover salted and the fries was already "soggy", not very crispy when we got it. Overall I was a bit disappointed as I wasexpecting better. Read more
First time here. It was quiet during lunchtime. We ordered the crispy calamari and it was good. The cod burger was quite... oily, but the fries were very good. The prawn and scallops linguine was tasty but the seafood was overcooked. The seafood stewwas good, but we felt it could have more "fillings", especially for $30. Overall, a nice experience, but we probably won't goback anytime soon. Read more
