Negative interaction with a man who seemed to be the store owner. We parked in their store spot for a few minutes, wanting to... leave as soon as possible. I stayed in the car while my mom went to pick up something from another store. He was very rude andinsisted that we leave even when I wanted to purchase something from the store. What if I had wanted to buy something? I'm notable to comment on their food. It's a shame and I love small local businesses, but I'm not visiting this store in the futurebecause of this experience. I went to Damien's to have the breakfast waffle and itbwas simply delicious. The waffle was soft and tasty. The whipped cream... was feshly made and was so smooth I didn't know which was best, the waffle or the whipped topping. I bought the chocolatewaffles to take home and my only regret was buying 2. I also bought the store-made raspberry jam and it is by far the best jam Ihave ever had. It's balanced well between sweet and the tangyness of the raspberry. Tasty Belgian style waffles lovingly made. I ordered their all day breakfast waffle, comes with waffle of your choice, fresh... fruit, whipped cream and coffee/tea/juice for less than $10. I chose their cinnamon waffle and it had the perfect amount ofcinnamon flavor and sweetness. The waffle had a nice chew/bite to it. Highly recommended when in Steveston. Read more

The place is small and cute, and the staff are very friendly. The only reason why I give 4 stars is because we were under the... impression the waffles were made to order. The waffles are premade (in-house). We had our waffles reheated here, and the darkchocolate one was still cold and soggy(?), but the yuzu one was a little warmer. Read more
