Came here thinking it was gunna have some good fish tacos since it?s by the fisherman?s wharf and I was sadly disappointed. If... the food was cheaper than I could deal with the disappointment but it?s over priced in an area where I believe rent is expensiveas well. You?re basically paying for their rent it seems with these prices. $13.50 for a 10oz Mojito which is mostly ice and $5+for one fish taco. The baby chair they provided was not cleaned from the last use and was covered in food spills and they didn?tgive us anything to clean it with. We used our wet naps that we had for our baby. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, 3x fishtacos, chicken strips with fries and 2x Mojito Diablos. Not worth $94 including tip. Price: Over priced food and drinks forwhat you?re getting. Small portions and mostly overcooked food. Portion/palate: Quesadillas were decent portions but the fishtacos were small. The tacos also had 2 taco wraps to make you think it?s more hardy but it?s just more carbs and less fish. Thechicken strips were tiny chunks and half the fries were over cooked (browned). Place: Looks nice and clean, but I have asuggestion for their patio. Try not to have your cutlery, plates and glasses outside where they can get dirty just sitting outthere waiting for a guest. People: People seemed like they didn?t want to be there. The lady though did seem genuinelynice. One star for the nice lady and one star because I don?t have a choice. Read more
We?ve been looking a good Mexican restaurant for a while now. When we heard about Little Mexico Cantina, we decided to give it a... try. It did not disappoint. We ordered the Nachos to start. They make the chips in-house so they were really fresh and crispy.They were topped with a perfect blend of beans, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, pickled jalapenos, guacamole, and blackolives. It was absolutely delicious! For the main dish, I ordered the tacos and my husband got the burrito bowl. You can orderone taco for $7 or 3 tacos for $18. I ordered the carne, birria and fish tacos. The carne taco was my favourite out of thethree. The meat was juicy, tender and cooked just right. The fish taco also had a nice little crunch to it. The burrito bowlwas huge. It?s definitely to share. You pick the meat you want mixed in your bowl. The restaurant was comfortable and nicelydecorated. I especially liked the Mexican skull and skeleton art hanging on the walls. It gave the place a really cool Mexicanvibe. We can?t wait to come back and try the other dishes! A little late on the review as these pictures were from late January, 22. Went with my family for lunch and we very much... enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The free chips to start were delicious and we got the bacon wrapped jalapeños poppersand calamari. We shared the fajita spread with beef, chicken and shrimp and an order of the birria tacos not pictured. Theportions were very generous but unfortunately, all of the food was surprisingly bland. Great vibe and selection of food. The complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were really fresh. The bartender provided top notch... customer service and I went with all his food and drink reccos which all hit the spot. Really enjoyed the trio tacos andmocktail. Perfect relaxing lunch! Read more
I've heard really good things about this restaurant and there always seems to be a line up, so I was glad I finally had a chance... to try them. I was very happy with the service and the food. All our dishes were delicious and arrived quite quickly. The onlydownside was that I didn't realize this was a pub. We were hoping for a quiet dinner, but it just so happened that we were thereduring a football game and being a small place. it was really hard to have a conversation with the noise. Good tasting basic tacos. Hearty and meaty. Not much else to say. My garlic cheese bread was packed together tightly such that... it was kinda like a bread and cheese ball stuck together, but it tasted fine. Pretty standard authentic tacos with realingredients. Read more
Good Mexican food however would?ve maybe preferred if I had just gotten it taken out. We got the beyond burrito, tacos, and... enchilada.
