Ok! I?m stranded in Richmond waiting to get home and Moxie?s is the restaurant attached to my hotel! The staff here is AWESOME!... And the food has been delicious ????. Justine was my server - great attention to detail, met all my needs, and was so good atchecking on me. Danny has been great too! Super fun and charming! We have been here several times for meals with family and friends. And we have always enjoyed being here. This time we came to... celebrate Mother?s Day for my wife. It was a late decision and I called to reserve a table at about 9:00. I was pleasantlysurprised to get a table and a warm friendly greeting at the other end. The place was quite busy for lunch but, we got a goodtable. Food was good. We enjoyed our choices. We shared chicken wings for appetizer. For the mains we had Sicilian Sausage Hash,Laksa Soup and a Cheese Burger. We had an excellent server, Trisha. She came around and checked on us several times. Coffee wasgood and she topped up with smile. All in all we a had great experience. On the way out my wife received a gift of a smallSucculent plant for Mother?s Day. That was nice touch. Had a nice business lunch here. Location was convenient to get to with ample parking outside. The dining room was clean,... spacious, and had a comfortable ambiance. Service and food were pleasant. We absolutely loved the nachos. The cobb salad was nothing to write home about. Their desserts were awesome tho! Can't go wrong... with any of them. But the kicker was, as we were finishing our meal, the fire alarm rang. The staff escorted us outside whilewe waited for the firetrucks to arrive. As we stood outside for about 15mins, the manager said, they will cover all of our billsas they don't know when the alarm will be resolved. The restaurant heating broke and it was freezing! Apparently they are unable to fix it until the spring. The food was not... particularly good either. The chicken wraps would have been much better had it not been over drenched in sauce. The chicken inthe chicken rigatoni dish was very dry and the pasta could have been softer. Very disappointing but the servers were extremelykind and tried their best to make our experience more comfortable. Read more
