So excited that Origo club has decided to reopen with a pop up cafe. I went there the first time and gasped at how amazing the... vibe is. Very beautifully done pastries, tastes perfect and crisp. Staffs are nice as well. I hope this place stays open in thefuture! Read more

Origo Club! Everything we had was easily a 9/10 or 10/10! 1. Tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle - absolutely amazing!... Definitely would get this again! 2. Shoyu-glazed Sablefish - it just melted in your mouth! Small portion… But cooked toperfection! 3. Pan-fried scallops - another small portion but it was cooked PERFECTLY. Loved it! 4. Chocolate espresso browniewith earl grey ice cream - it was a very moist nut brownie and had a thin layer of coffee that tasted like a coffeecrisp! Overall it was an amazing meal and would highly recommend in case someone is looking for fine dining! Read more

For some reason, they really aren’t that popular despite I think they are a good restaurant. I also believe they have changed... the ownership recently as they shift from Asian team member to Caucasian. Anyway, decent decor, nice layout, comfortableseating, friendly service. Only had chance to try their afternoon tea which was thumb up! My wife also tried their dinnerbefore, a bit pricey and small-portion, but delicious for sure. If they were in DT Van, I really believe their business wouldbe so much better. But who knows? Anyway, you can come to try their hi tea and French dinner, worth the trip! Read more

The best selection of delectable treats both savoury and sweet! My mother and I came here and found each bite was unique... tasting and very enjoyable. She's been to a different place before but was very adamant about Origo being better ten fold. Theserver was lovely which made the entire experience leaving us feeling satisfied. We were told that the menu is constantlychanging and they also offer dinner so I definitely would be found back! Read more

Exceptional service, delicious food. Went for the afternoon tea service, it was hard to coordinate with my friend since it’s... only available Friday and Saturday, but it was definitely worth the wait. I had booked a time that was too earlier for theafternoon. A few days before a friendly restaurant staff called to inform me and adjusted my reservation. When we arrived wewere greeted by lovely servers. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and the table setting was super charming. Theselection of tea was lovely. The food came on a splendid round tier tray filled with yummy bites. I have had afternoon tea manyplaces in the lower mainland and the food here is definitely in my top five. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go again. Read more

The chic decor looks very upscale and the fewer tables means the service is excellent. There is a bar table with all the high... end coffee gears and their list of beverage options are extensive. Dinner is delicious but slightly on the higher end side. They also have a good wine list and the atmosphere is great for a date. Dessert is worth mentioning as well and the star wouldbe the daily selections in the displayer. Read more

One tends to look for fine dining in Downtown area when in Vancouver. Origo now pulls you to Richmond, an area that's known for... a high concentration of Asian cuisine. Opened only a few months ago, it provides some sumptuous French affair. Menu is small(only 5 main courses), but every dish has proven to be great in both quality and taste. Our party ordered all of them and we'veliked every dish. The steak I ordered is one of the best I've had, and the fish rivals Bluewater's, thanks to the team led byChef David Pan. Pappardelle (very broad flat noodle) is house-made and can have added shaved truffle with extra $20. Service isvery attentive although still lacking in experience. It's open for lunch, and on Friday and Saturday afternoon tea (more likehigh tea) is served from 1.30 pm to 4 pm. For a relatively small restaurant, it's quite ambitious - it offers special dinnersfrom time to time, the next one is on Oct 17 for Barons de Rothchild Dinner ($250 for a 7-course meal and wine). Theestablishment also comes with a private dining room, and an Asian art gallery (by appointment). Of interest is theirwine/spirits list. You'll find whisky (from France, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, USA, even India), digestifs, cognacs, sake, shochu, on top of a few beers. Read more

Visiting from Toronto and decided to try Origo from reading the reviews. Had an amazing meal better than most top restos in TO. ... French food in a very chill and laid back atmosphere is pretty unique but works well. Great energy , and cool staff. The disheswere really well made, right up there with the best in the Toronto. We ordered the beef tartar, snails, duck and the pasta withtruffles. All the dishes were really well done. Will be coming back on our next trip to BC. Read more
