We came here on a Sunday evening with a group of 7 but we had to sit at separate tables which is not ideal. We were seated in a... room on the side away from the main area, where all the tables are separated by dividers. Overall, the food was average. Thefood was served to us extremely quickly and all at once, it was quite overwhelming finding space on the table. But it?s goodnews if you?re starving! For the prices they were charging (which seemed arbitrary - $33 for a rainbow roll??), I was expectingbetter quality. The rolls seemed to have been assembled sloppily and some fell apart when trying to pick them up withchopsticks. The Chicken Karage was a standout to me, although it doesn?t come with a side of mayo. They charged us a mandatory15% gratuity for our party of 7 although we ordered from separate tables and paid for two bills? the tables were spaced so farfrom each other that we didn?t even interact as a group. I would skip this place as there are plenty of better options forsushi around the area for a better price. Read more

I came here for dinner recently. The restaurant had a nice ambience and service. In terms of food, I tried the Seto Sushi Boat.... It also included Miso Soup, Sunomono Salad, and Ice cream. The Miso Soup and Sunomono Salad were good. The sushi boat stood outthe most as it came with a lot of items - 8 slices of Salmon and Tuna Sashimi (each), 6 Oysters, 4 Salmon and Tuna Maki (each),1 California Roll, 1 Assorted Tempura, a small Salad, and 2 slices of Watermelon and Honeydew (each), and they were all amazing. The Green Tea Ice Cream at the end was a really nice finish to the meal. This is one of the longer standing, authentic japanese restaurant - if not the rare few left in 604. It has been open for over... 2 decades in the same location. It serves traditional, authentic japanese cuisines by japanese chefs and servers. Quality, technique and taste are all top notch. Price wise it is on the middle to higher end of the price scale however portions arevery reasonable and they have one of the largest selections of japanese cuisines in 604 - with each item cooked to perfectionand great attention. I started eating at this place when they first opened while I was still a highschool student in the early2000?s. I do not come as often as i like but i think i might just begin coming back more often - both for authenticity andsentimental memories. It is certainly a gem that you do not want to miss. Read more

Amazing homey Japanese restaurant in Richmond! Their food can be on the expensive side but it's worth the price. Its fresh and... delicious whether it's the appetizer, karaage, chirashi, steamed egg, or sushi rolls. Each has their distinct flavour andtexture, and our party enjoyed it very much. Read more

I ordered the Hotate Sanshoku Don it was supposed to come with 3 pieces Urchin but they told me they couldn't provide it;... however, they offered to substitute it with farm salmon. They said they could only offer it in Nigiri form. I agreed to havejust the Don. They then didn't offer a price correction for 3 pieces of salmon in the sea urchins place. Service was okay, butfor the value of the meal it was much over priced. I didn't tip, and then the waitress asked why I didn't tip. I explained toher, that the dish should've been price adjusted so I had to adjust the tip. I felt bad initially but good that I stood up forwhat makes sense. Anyways, I'll stick to other sushi places. Read more
