I can?t find many places that serve taiyaki but this place does. Tried the red bean filled taiyaki. The outside is nice and... crispy with butter flavour and overall it was pretty good. The dough they use more resembles a Cronut and tasted like acroissant but without the puff/flaky layer component. It works if you are craving taiyaki and can?t find it elsewhere as notmany places offer this yummy snack at the moment. Read more

Ordered the mango bingsoo here and it was very disappointing compared to other Snowy Village locations I?ve visited in New West... and Langley. As others have said, they only offer the one size instead of small and large sizes. The mango pieces wereincredibly sour when it?s consistently sweet at other locations. 95% of the mango bits were on the top layer, and inside wasmostly syrup. They also don?t provide condensed milk separately when you take it to go. It?s also the least hygienic locationI?ve been to. Very cluttered inside. The worker making my order only used a glove on her right hand for some odd reason. Verydisappointed and won?t be visiting this location again. Read more

The "large" portion has shrunk by quite a bit compared to before. The main reason for the 1 star rating is because of the... customer service. We tried calling to place a take out order but no one picked up the phone. We thought it was because they werebusy due to the heat wave, so we placed the order via UberEats for faster pick-up. But when we arrived, there were no customersin the store and no one waiting for takeout. The two staff members were on their cellphones when we entered and did not botherlooking up when customers entered the store. It was only when we told them that we were picking up for Uber did they startactually making the order (we placed the order roughly 10 minutes ago). Read more

Ordered injeolmi red bean takiyaki Super disappointed It's still crispy yet burnt and the injeolmi inside is hard rock... (seriously), bitter shell as it is burnt. How can you overcooked the outside inside still not cook?! Besides the food, customerservice sucks as well. Came in, no greeting, no asking what I want. Didn't come here for a few years. Quality and customerservice went very downhill. Owner no longer Korean. Debit only Take out only I will get apple pie at the mcd next time if Icrave for crispy food Not going to come back anymore Read more

Ordered 3 taiyaki, injelomi redbean, custard, and pizza. This store is takeout only so we didn?t eat it until we got home, only... to find out our pizza taiyaki had absolutely no filling in it. If it was out of stock they should have told us instead of justgiving us a plain taiyaki. The custard taiyaki was also barely filled. Used to love this snowy village. Will be going to otherlocations. Very disappointed. Read more

Solid place for dessert after dinner. It's a great location as it is on "Eat"Street, aka Alexandra Road where many restaurants... are located. I'm a big fan of their shaved ice as it is milky and sweet. Highly recommend the mango bingsu and green grapebingsu Read more

Excellent portion. I can be satisfied eating a large bingsu by my self. The mango is always sweet! The ice is made of some kind... of cream. Very soft and fluffy. It?s not like the other places that just serve crushed ice. Portion is great. Packaging is cute.Comes with a silver bag that helps retain the cold. Read more

I've been going to Snowy Village for years and really enjoyed the dessert here, but I came here last night (July 30th at... ~9:30pm) and had a dreadful take-out experience. We'd ordered 2 Mango Bingsus, and both separately had their own issues. Firstoff, there was a super long strand of hair that was basically infused with the top of one of the desserts (photos attached). Idon't normally get grossed out by these, so we decided to just pick it off, took some photos, but begrudgingly ate it anyway. However, my friend (who ordered the same thing) found a piece of plastic near the bottom of her order of Mango Bingsu (photosalso attached). Literally 2/3s of our orders had either been contiminated in some capacity (the Taiyaki had been the only thingthat seemed perfectly fine). I've had good experiences up until last night, but this had been absolutely unacceptable. I'drecommend finding other Bingsu spots around the area if you'd like a better shot at a clean dessert.
