This restaurant has wonderful customer service and very attentive staff. The owner, Shane, is a true delight! It is a great... place for date night, parties and private events (inquire with the restaurant on those options of course!) The oysters were abit lacklustre in size so that was the only overall disappointment. The jumbo prawn cocktail is an easy crowd favourite as wellas the devils on horseback?s - I mean who can resist bacon wrapped scallops? Their calamari and sweet Thai chicken is good butnothing I?d particular run back for. The sablefish is so light and tender. The mighty Fraser was cooked to perfection and thevegetables portion was absolutely great! I am so over going to places that serve 2 tiny veggies and call it a day! They wereroasted well and very flavourful. The tiramisu was done wonderfully. Light and you could really taste the layers! The blueberrycheesecake is a great staple too. Moist and decadent and not at all overpowering with the compote. Overall it is a wonderfuldining experience - a bit in the pricier end but it?s worth it for the right occasion. Had an excellent dinner this evening. The patio was the place to be. The portions were more than generous. I had the Ling Cod... which was absolutely delicious, and partner had the Mighty Fraser (fillet mignon). For dessert we shared the Cheese cake,another hit! Our server was excellent! We held our wedding reception at the beautiful Steveston Seafood House restaurant on June 25th. There is no words that could... really describe how incredibly grateful and lucky my husband and I are to have met Shane and his incredible and friendly staff.They made our day extremely special. Shane was amazing to work with; he responded promptly to any emails and was veryprofessional, friendly and helpful. The staff were very attentive and made our guests feel welcomed. The food was beautiful andtasted absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to host an event or just looking for a tastyplace to eat. Fresh seafood. Good tasting food. Great service by the server (he did really save this experience; if not for him, we would've... given this restaurant a much lower rating). The reception was not very welcoming. They do not smile, showed how they do not wantto be there and did not like what they are doing, and ignored us for good 5mins standing at the entrance waiting for someone tofinally say hi to us and get us seated, while they kept walking past us. And once they finally decided to talk to us, the girlwas like, "so you're here for pickup, right?". Celebrated my niece?s grad dinner here. Greeted by friendly and attentive staff. Set menu was offered for our group, with... choices of beef, fish, pasta, pork schnitzel or vegetarian. Started with clam chowder (New England style), with chunks of salmonto boot. Ordered the schnitzel (cooked perfectly, not dry) and had a bite of my wife?s seafood pasta too which was delish!Topped off everything with their chocolate tort which was rich and heavenly. Came here for an early mothers day dinner and overall a pretty good experience. Before I go any further, DO NOT ORDER THE KING... CRAB. Portions and prices for everything was very generous and reasonable but the king crab was borderline inedible as it was sosalty. If you've ever been to a seafood buffet that advertises "snow crab" or the like, you'll likely get the idea. The crablegs are there, but it's akin to surviving at sea. You're surrounded by water but you're likely to die of thirst as the saltwater is obviously not potable. Avoid the king crab and everything else will be delicious and worthwhile. Read more

I?ve been here once before and I?m very happy I came back. It was a quiet evening so the staff was super attentive and friendly... but not overbearing. We shared the oysters rockerfeller and my mom ordered the red Thai seafood bowl (which was delicious) and Iordered the seared jumbo scallops and an order of king crab on the side. We?re from out of town so this meal was definitelyworth it and we left stuffed. Again shout out to the staff. You really made us feel cozy in a ?fancy? place. Will definitelycome by again. Read more
