Steamed prawn dumplings, steamed pork and shrimp shumai, steamed BBQ pork buns, steamed rice with preserved pork and Chinese... sausage, pan fried shrimp and chive cakes, pan fried daikon cakes, deep fried prawn rolls with seaweed, pan fried eggplantstuffed with shrimp paste, and durian glutinous dumplings were delicious. Saw a friend's fb post on this so decided to come here for lunch since it was just 2 mins' drive from where we stayed. Gotta say... it was pretty pricey and food was so so for the price. Some staff were too occupied with chatting with customers so we had alittle challenge getting some attention. Best of the lot that we ordered was the abalone and the congee. The rest was ok only. Best dim sum experience I've had in a long time. Every dish we ordered was served hot and fresh, presented nicely and of course... tasted delicious. Love the sauce trio of hot oil, hot sauce and hot mustard, more dim sum places need to have this. It's a gamechanger! Sun Sui Wah is a must visit when in Richmond. Read more

Good quality dim sum. The menu is a bit small compared to other restaurants I've been to but it sure was delicious. Service was... very fast. It can get busy so making reservations is probably a good idea. I really enjoyed the beef tripe. It was differentfrom the typical ginger beef tripe I order at dim sum restaurants. I was craving some good chinese food and I was not disappointed at all!The fried squid was perfectly cook, not greasy, soft and... very tasty. The eggplant with tenderloin in black pepper sauce was my favorite, the beef was tender and juicy! The seafoodvermicelli were good too, full of fresh seafood and meat.
