Arrived to the place. Lady was so rude to us even tho we gave them nothing but kindness when we arrived. We were told “you... have 30 minutes, then we are closed. You are gonna have to eat whatever is left. K? It will be $total. Machine????” I felt sorushed and the food didn’t even taste good. This is my second time coming here. The food was good but the service was unfortunate. I was greeted with the utmost disrespect. I went there for a farewell dinner... and was invited by family friends. We told the lady our reservation for the night and I think she had a hard time finding thename. We told her the second time and she yelled at us saying she understood the first time. She then told us that we have tofind our friend's table on our own and wouldn’t help us. As I ate and finished, I was told by the waitress to scratch off thebits of rice in my utensils. I did what was asked and then I heard the waitress say I was inadequate and disrespectful. I wouldlike to say that I am currently 15 and this was just upsetting. Did want to spoil myself for the first time in 9 years. The buffet was a good idea. The presented food had a good variety of... choices from all kind of meats and vegetarian dishes. The pastry chef overdid himself with his creation. It topped the maindishes by far. Rich,intense and creamy flavour to fruity creamy explosion in the tongue. Read more

My family of 6 went for dinner... $50 per person. The food quality was horrible. The food selection is minimal. Everything was... bland and flavorless. The prawn cocktails were mushy and still had shells on them. The roast beef and ham were cold and again noflavour. There was 1 pasta, 1 pizza, 1 rice dish, 1 potato dish, 1 mixed veg, 1 BBQ pork, 1 noodle and other boring dishes. Idon't understand how this can cost $50 for such low quality dishes. The food at The Buffet at the River Rock Casino was so good! We had everything. From the roast beef, to the sides, it was... fantastic. The desserts, particularly the matcha cake and cheesecake, were restaurant quality. They were delicious! The serverswere so friendly and talkative. They make you feel like you’re part of the family!
